I've had the pleasure of working with the Klaben family for over 40 years. I started out washing cars, driving the parts truck and selling cars. After graduating from the University of Akron I was given the opportunity to work as a service advisor, which then led to being a dispatcher, and then service management. I've lived in the Akron/Kent area all my life. I enjoy spending time with my family, my dogs and in the Summit County Metro Parks.

This was my first experience with the service department. My car has 3,000 miles and there was already an issue with the driver side window not working and having to have the part replaced. I scheduled my appointment online and was very happy with the response and follow up reminders. I have given a 5 star rating but, being in the customer service industry myself, I tend to be a little more critical and have a couple of suggestions. As a service center, I would recommend identifying the Klaben Service Center down the road as Chrysler in the signage. I did not realize there were two different service centers and waited quite a while to talk to someone to be informed I was at the wrong location and “it happens all the time.” When I got to the correct location, I didn’t realize I was actually assigned a service representative and waited quite a while to be acknowledged. Several employees walked past me without any acknowledgment and, finally, a gentleman came out from the back and assisted myself and another customer who was waiting as long as me who also had no knowledge of their service representative. Now that I am aware of this, I will know what to do next time as this is a great feature of this service department. It was great to deal with one person for everything. When it was time to pick up my car, I knew exactly where to go and what to do. My service department representative, Kim, was very thorough with explaining what was wrong and reminded me to call her directly should there be any problems going forward. She is definitely an asset to the company. Overall, I would highly recommend Klaben Ford Service Center. I hope I never have to go back :), but if I do, I know I will receive excellent service. More
