Misleading TPMS advice - YYCbro
I recently had my summer tire installed for my 2013 CRV and I was asked if I wanted to include TPMS reprogramming for an additional $40. I declined this because from my experience with other service centers like Canadian Tire & TireCraft my TPMS automatically reset itself without any additional fee. The service advisers insisted that this will not be the case and that my TPMS light will always be turned on if I don't pay for TPMS reprogramming. I still declined.
Lo and behold, a few minutes after I picked up my car the TPMS light went away on its own! I told the manager about this and I was told along the lines of the TPMS re-setting on its own is hit & miss that's why they normally recommend re-programming....at an additional $40! To me this is not good service. They should know their product better and advise their clients on the best possible value of service and not sell services which are not required.

I am not an existing client, but took my Honda CRV to Village Honda this morning for 3 recalls. I live in Sundre so let the Service Advisor know that I would not be bringing my vehicle back to be serviced, so not to bother doing a further work estimate. They did perform a thorough check and identified that my brake shoes were badly worn, among other things, with a note on my file that I would have the work done in Sundre. When I picked up my vehicle, he said that the list would make it easier for whoever services it to know what needs doing. The shuttle took me immediately where I wanted to go, and picked me up as soon as the vehicle was done. I appreciate their excellent service when there was no further work to be done for them. There was no cost as this was a recall service appointment.

Husband saw 2014 Honda CRV online. He called salesman Jas Singh and arranged to see car next day. We put a deposit on car and arranged for myself to fly to Calgary the next week to pick up. Jas arranged a pick up for me at the airport from a very friendly driver that insisted on placing my baggage in vehicle.The car was cleaned perfectly and even had the classy touch of a bow on it once I arrived. Ramy Yasmin familiarized myself with GPS and other questions I had.

The service department is superior. Ziad, Shannon and Dean are always so approachable and very friendly. The service department really helped me out last week. I was sitting in my car for about an hour with the radio on and talking on the phone. The battery died and it was soon time for me to pick up my son. I was close to Honda so they quickly came to me and boosted my car. This is so appreciated! Thank you.
