2018 Tiguan - YYCTiguan
We had been eyeing a few mid-sized SUVs and we stopped by South Centre VW to check out the new Tiguan. We were lucky enough to have Cesar as our sales person because his knowledge and no-pressure sales tactics turned our perception of what buying a car on its head. Rather than feeling like we needed to keep our cards close to our chest as we experienced with other dealers, he made us feel like we were chatting with a close friend. This allowed us to feel comfortable sharing information with him so that he could place us in the right car for us rather than one at the very top of our budget. We truly feel we made a friend as we make sure to visit Cesar when we take our new Tiguan in for service (Matt Low and his service team also provide a service level that is unmatched in my experiences). When our lease is up on the Tiguan, there is only one person I’m going to contact to set us up with our next car, Cesar.

Excellent customer service - kjm01
If you want excellent customer service from an employee with a caring attitude and fantastic knowledge, we strongly recommend Jim Sarantis. This is the second new vehicle he has assisted us with, and he "always goes the extra mile." Thanks Jim!
Poor Service - Bill
I would recommend this dealership over Eastside Dodge. That said I booked an appointment on Oct 6th to complete some recall service. I sat there for am hour before the service bays opened. To be first in line of course. The time that they have posted for them to open at 8:30 passed and I started to wonder if someone was late opening the doors. Finally someone came out and told myself and all the others that had been waiting that the service bays are closed for the long weekend. What really pissed me off is that the person who booked the appointment for this did not have the courtesy to call me to cancel or to re-book the appointment. The individual that came out to tell us that the service bays are closed said they neglected to post signs stating that they are not open due to the long weekend. I'm still waiting for that courtesy call to apologize for the inconvenience and to re-book this appointment. Not impressed.
Excellent Buying Experince - Dan
Very help and accommodating Dayo, we bought two vehicles from him in two days, even though we negotiated hard and he kept his calm. Will definitely send friends and families to him.
Pleasant and professional - Sierraguy
Purchased a new GMC Sierra from shaganappi and had a great experience, would recommend to anyone.
I did have some issues with the auto body repair shop, still waiting for resolution.
My used truck purchase was well worth the trip. - Duggi52
Found the truck I wanted and Randy Macfarlane was awesome in making it happen. The trip from Medicine Hat was well worth it. Randy worked hard to find every truck I wanted to look at.
Close to buying! - Pete
Spoke with Rebecca today, and now my wife and I are feeling much closer to a new Altima! She made us both feel like we mattered to Sunridge. Every other car purchase we've made has felt like they only wanted our money. Rebecca really seemed to want us to be happy with the decision we make.
Thanks so much!!!
Very friendly and helpful - Happy Customer
I have dealt with Marshall a few times while picking up parts. He is the most personable and helpful individual I have dealt with at any dealership. Even when not dealing with him personally, I have observed him treating other customers with the same level of service.

I had an exceptional experience dealing with Paul, Ben and Dylan. I appreciated their integrity and passion when it comes to selling and servicing vehicles. I purchased my SUV in April 2016 from Konig and I still love driving this vehicle. Awesome ride and super price. I highly recommend them.

Lemon Jeep Cherokee, 3 attempt unsafe fail at Courtesy - TammiGray
We have a 2016 Jeep Cherokee that has now entered the lemon status, over the course of the last 6 months this Jeep was taken into Courtesy where it was purchased for them to “deal with it” under warranty. The issue is a leak somewhere in the firewall of the vehicle that lets water into the passenger floor compartment where it sits, gets mouldy, and quickly makes the jeep smell like a sewage dump. During the first visit to Courtesy the technician noted wet carpet in both the passenger and driver compartment, Courtesy then had the passenger compartment “fixed” and replaced only the passenger compartment carpet despite the technician’s notes of the issue spreading to the driver’s compartment as well. The unit was returned for repair attempt number 2 for them to replace the driver’s carpet with some resistance from courtesy management. A week later the carpet was wet again. Obviously frustrated we returned the unit a 3rd time for them to try and fix it. The service adviser that took the jeep in promised to replace the carpet again. That service adviser then disappeared from the dealer and we did not hear about our jeep for 2 weeks until we called for an update. The second service adviser promised the issue was being dealt with and then also disappeared from the dealership. Another 2 weeks went by without any correspondence from the dealer until we called and found out that the jeep was in limbo and they completely forgot about it.
Next it was deemed that it had to be sent to their body shop for the repair, they determined the cracked windshield had to be removed and replaced, we purchased a windshield from an outside party and had it delivered to the body shop, then they promptly lost it and installed their own and tried to charge us for it. After the repair was completed they fought very hard with us to not replace the mouldy stinky carpet (which the first service adviser promised us would be replaced) and we had to escalate the problem to jeep Canada, after over a month and a half of fighting the dealer agreed to change the carpet and the repair was finished (the service adviser who gave us the keys admitted that the fight over $72 dollars’ worth of carpet was ridiculous). A week later the passenger floor was wet, we called the dealer obviously frustrated and they would not call us back Roger, the service manager, made himself unavailable to deal with us.
We have now taken the unit to South Trail Chrysler, not only have they been MUCH more attentive to the issue, they have determined that the issue is a structural fault that requires engineering input from Jeep Canada to properly fix and return us a vehicle that is safe and fit for the road. So not only did Courtesy Chrysler lose our vehicle, lose the staff they had in place to deal with our repair, and fight tooth and nail during the repair to save themselves a few bucks, They also negligently returned an unsafe vehicle to us after a nightmare of a process. Courtesy Chrysler is not capable of performing service work on the vehicles they sell, even if they were capable, they can’t be bothered to do so. We had been patient and understanding of the process throughout and were not being hard to deal with. After buying two vehicles brand new from Courtesy Chrysler, they have lost our business, and in our opinion, no one should deal with Courtesy Chrysler
Management shows what company really stands for. - Mac009
I bought a used car at Crowfoot Hyundai and the salesman convoluted and frustrated the deal, But once Management caught wind of my frustration Nels the manager sorted and straightened out the problem with out another word.. Needless to say in the end I walked away felling good about my purchase. What I came away with is that front line doesn't always reflect management and that is how it should be. Thanks Crowfoot. From my experience was for Crowfoot Hyundai relationship isn't just words there actions. Thanks Crowfoot
Unprofessional and does not honour dealer errors. - hhishmeh
They create their own documents for customer buy out and add their own fees on top of your official fee. In this situation they gave us the wrong buyout amount and we went out and bought a new vehicle. The dealer came back and told us we were short $1000 due to them mistyping the number on the official buyout form which is signed by their manager. They would not honour their mistake by fixing it. Brutal dealer from A-Z. Will never go back there or recommend anyone to.Truly what we wanted to do was simply take over a lease and it was excessively expensive compared to other dealers. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. BE WARE!
Amazing, painless and just plain great - MickyJ and MinnieA
The experience was painless - Jason Carriere our sales rep is an amazing gentleman. He is patient, kind and very personable. If fact the entire team at Tower is incredible. We met Dawn, Jason, Cheryl and Shawn. I was very hesitant but Jason put us at ease with his knowledge and personality. He went step by step through the entire process. We told him what we needed and he found it. The icing on the cake was that we got to go home with a gift as well. I highly recommend Jason and the entire team for your next purchase.
disappointed - AD

Ran 14 credit checks - mike123
The experience was awful... First they tell me they have an approval for the car I wanted then I go down there cash in hand to close the deal and they tell me there is an issue with the vehicle... Which is fine. However, a week later they are advertising it again!!!!
They also said they would find something else and nothing back?? So all they did was make it more difficult to get a car. Also what they advertise weekly is not really there... Bait and Switch just to get you in the dealership ( If you want to call it that) or on the phone to put you into something you dont want...
So to summarize I did find what I wanted with the financing I wanted from a dealership who said they finance all and kept there word!!
Terrible is a nice word for customer service - Bob
Every thing is well until there is something you agree with Sam who is the owner and operator of one man dealership. In my case, he resorted to verbal threats and physical intimidation. Avoid at all costs. Too bad there are no negative star ratings.
terrible customer service. - pdj00
Purchased a 2010 Equinox in May of this year. After 226 km. noticed the check engine light was on and had an issue with the transmission. Called Nash and took the vehicle back to the dealership. Unfortunately all the " technicians" were busy and Nash said he would text me when they were available. I told him I was going to Sask in two weeks and would like the issue cleared up prior to my trip. SIX weeks later I again texted Nash and he was very apolagetic, saying he forgot. Fair enough. Finally got the vehicle in to the shop JULY 13. Took it in and was told there was little oil in the engine. (apparently their comprehensive inspection does not include checking the oil level ). Topped up the oil, with what appears to be the used oil they drain out of other vehicles. Still had an issue so I took it to a more reputable auto shop and was told the tranny fluid was badly overfilled.and that a sensor needed to be replaced. Was also told to take it to a transmission shop as there was an internal problem. So $377.00 later , (which I doubt I will get back ) still have a transmission issue. Called Nash back and was told the shop was closed for the Aug. long weekend and to book an appointment after. Asked for Mon. aug 13 an am still waiting for a response. So..... anyone interested in a 2010 Equinox that has been sitting in my driveway for the last month !!! Crappy customer service. No wonder these fly-by-night shops get shut down.
Terrible dealer - Safwan, bad dealer
This man does not honour his word, I have work with many car dealers and this is the only dealer who’s cars have come back with so many complaints and Safwan has no value for customers let alone people who work for him, this man has no dignity no shame and finances rebuilt cars through financial institutions which don’t allow to finance rebuilt cars. This man is a big scam DO NOT TRUST HIM AND DONT BUY FROM HIM.
A great experience - Jean
I was looking to trade my 2011 Volvo XC 90 for, well I didn’t what, I went to another dealership on Barlow, but wasn’t really impressed, felt a bit sketchy, lets make a deal right now...
I was driving home when I didn’t take the turn I was supposed and found Barlow Motors, decided why not, I met Simon and Carmelo, it was a Saturday, I test drove a 2012 Mercedes GLK, I loved it, it had everything I wanted with the expection of a remote start, which is not unusual.
Carmelo is a great person to deal with, has a good sense of humour and made the transaction fair and easy. One little electrical problem was fixed by the super nice and patient service staff and I am on my way!! If you are looking for a good used vehicle, check out Barlow Motors, a great bunch with some pretty nice vehicles too!
