I bought a car 6 months ago all inspected and all everything should be A1 quality... well i need to get boosted almost every time ... i cannot go to the grocery store without a friend with a 2nd car... For about 2 business days I keep calling and leaving messages no one replies finally someone did...
The nice lady who finally called me wanted me to buy coverage for 1 extra year for several hundred dollars or until 2020 for $2,008 because thats what most people go for............ to this generous offer i asked to get referred to someone else... who says putting a new battery inside the car for $139 plus tax comes with a new 5 year garentee... so yeah the nice lady later leave me a voice mail (i guess they spoke to each other) saying she forgot 1 option that would essentially "save" about $1,850 and extend for 2 years the garentee.
Im guessing no one really cares if they don't make a sale out of you.
Additional anecdotes support my claim to dislike Honda's customer services and ethical practices including refusal to get out a key stuck in the keyhole and charging $38 for it. And when I came back, with the key out thanks to the independent garage next door (who took it out for free because we gad fun making fun of Honda's practices and it literally took 1 minute) Honda refused to credit me more than half than the bill.
On a more positive note: If anyone interested in a used Honda, please call me.
Replaced Alternator Faulty Again - Jimmy
Had alternator replaced with Honda original replacement in 2015. Getting "Check Charging System" warning for a 10-20 seconds and then clears on its own. Brought Odyssey to Excel and paid for a diagnosis service and they state alternator is fine. Wanted to do additional 3 hour investigation on electrical system.... I rejected. Went elsewhere and paid to replace the alternator. Problem is fixed now!!!.
So much for having Honda stand by its original parts and repair service.
Have been Honda only customer since 1987... switched to other brands now and avoiding Honda.

The service rates me just a change of drum and all-inclusive rear brake band at $ 250 as elsewhere I was assessed. The clerk charged me $ 950. Never again this garage legal abuser.

Never Buy A CRV From Île-Perrot - GaryMac
After buying my 3rd car from Honda Île-Perrot I will never be a repeat client or refer friends/family. Our leased 2013 CRV has been having battery/starting issues since the first year. Anytime the outdoor temperature drops below -20C the car will not start unless boosted. Honda Île-Perrot replaced the battery under warranty after numerous trips to the dealership. Now on our 4th year of the lease the problem persists and Honda fails to acknowledge a common bug with the 2013 CRV (just google it). After the recent 1 week cold snap we had to boost the car a total of 9 times! A record from our usualy 3-4 boosts per year. After visiting the dealership for one last chance to resolve the issue they only offered to perform a battery test for a fee. They didn’t want to perform a diagnostic to see what’s obviously causing a drain on the battery (software update, starter, defective alternator, etc). They do not care for after sales support or problem ownership. I’d rather take my business to another dealership that actually cares about their clients such as Vaudreuil. We’ve already begun searching for another SUV to replace our CRV lease which can’t hack a typical Canadian winter. I refuse to service the car elsewhere (independent garage) and pay for a full diagnostic that is clearly a Honda manufacturing defect. I'd stay clear of this dealership and the CRV.

The people in the appointment section over the phone are so arrogant! Even if you have a serious problem you never get an appointment on time!! From last three days I have been taking help from people in the road to boost my honda crv , because my brand new honda crv doesn’t even boost with my car battery booster anymore that i buy with canadian tire. I am the owner of my car and i bought the car from them and the arrogant , stubborn receiptionist from the servicing center of lachine spinelli honda was complaining about me to my husband!!! How dumb she could be ! I was planning to buy my next car and my daughter’s car from Honda Spinneli Lachine, but guess what i am never going back to there . In my experience its the worst place ever ! They will always take money out of your pocket even though you have “warranty” with them . The people in the appointment section how come don’t know that when someone is in trouble they badly need an appointment!!! No , the lady was teaching me how to talk to her slowly . i wonder who hired this stupid people in the first place who has no knowledge on customer service!

I brought my CRV for a recall. I dropped the car in the morning and got the ride back home waiting.
I called at 4:30pm worrying about the service not done before closing. I got the answer from the advisor not to worry it will be done. I returned to pick up the car, surprise the diagnostic for the engine light cost me $105 and I have to bring it back the next day loosing another day of pay and still not know hoe much it will cost. very bad service and incompetent technician.
