I have purchased 4 Hyundai vehicles and this has been my go-to for service. They have really fallen down with their customer service lately. The (lack of) Service Representative was horrible and vengeful. I came in for warranty work, booked an appointment the previous week and made sure that they had the replacement part reserved. Simple job. They were told of my need to have the job done quickly and agreed. It was only after two hours that I wanted an update and they had not even hooked up the scan tool. Then the Service Rep said that I would have to come back another day to have it installed because they did not have the part. We argued back and forth and the part was there as I had told her. Then she said that maybe it could be done later that day or another day because she had messed up. It was so messed up that the owner (Nethercott) was involved and tried to rectify her mistake. She had personally taken our car out of the service bay and parked it outside to prove that she was in control of the situation and to flip me off. We usually use Glen in the service area and he has been decent to deal with, but he was not around. Sorry, but Hyundai makes a good vehicle, and it is also known for recalls and warranty work so service is important. Unfortunately, I think that this will be my last Hyundai.

Highly recommend the professionalism of this entire team. Mark Dorcas went above and beyond to expedite the repairs on my truck and ensure I had it back before the holidays. I even got it a day earlier than anticipated! Their care and concern for my vehicle was also extended to my well being. His team mates were quick to answer my questions when Mark was busy with another customer. They all knew what was happening and what stage my repairs were at any time I called. It really set my mind at ease. I can't thank Mark enough for his time, effort, energy and genuinely caring nature.

Very Happy with Surgenor Hyundai They replace a damage exhaust flex pipe when it should been done and fix by where i bought the car in Gatineau Hull Hyundai while they said they would not fix because of the damage what can they understand it was damage when i pick the car on my second oil change i deside to stop at a oil changer they told me there was a oil pan leak and flex pipe damage plus there was a lot of mud ask the Dealer to clean it but nothing was done by the Gatineau Hyundai dealer where i purchased the vehicle ...... The service department is a complete scam. They will tell you that your brakes are failing and you have to do the repair for your own safety. This will cost around $1,000. If you are smart and decline, then take your car to a real mechanic, you will see there is nothing wrong with your brakes. Stay far away from this place unless you like throwing money around!

Just decided to give me an answer out of the blue, and didn’t know the answer found that out later after spending money. On something I didn’t need. Just because Im a baby boomer does not give you the right to ignore me or dismiss me ! Younger generations rely on links and apps, and are far too lazy to even look into it for someone, So just decided to give me an answer just for the sake of giving me an answer, knowing for while it was wrong

Terrible service department. Took car in for a simple oil and filter change. It took four hours. I suspect nothing was done as I am now getting a warning light to check oil after only 2,000 kms. Will never buy another car at this dealership and have concerns about all MYERS dealerships if this is the quality of the care and service.

Stay away from the service Dept. I bought a 2023 Elantra N line in Stratford. I live 2 hrs from Stratford so my first service was done where I live locally. From the start I felt my brakes were spongy, shuttered a few times stopping and a constant tapping noise every time I hit the brakes. I asked my local dealer to perform a brake inspection. 3 licensed Hyundai mechanic were shocked what had been done to them by Stratford when performing the PDI when it arrived there. My brakes had been extremely over lubed so much so they took pictures as proof. Repeatedly said it had to have been an apprentice as a licensed mechanic never would have put that much oil on them. My local dealer cleaned as best they could but pads needed replacing and front rotors were damaged as a result. This is bought brand new and only at 6,000 km. I have been 4 months fighting with service manager to get what I paid for. I have caught him in several and I mean several lies. He from first day would overturn emails. I’ve had to drive to Stratford and visit. His deception of what he was going to do was unbelievable. . I will get this issued resolved as I have solid documentation but wonder what if I was a customer who didn’t have the backing of other Hyundai mechanics. I’m sure they would have I am sure many did as I can tell you he does lie. This is not my first Hyundai but had it been I’m sure it would have been my last. Do not deal with Stratford if your only recourse is to have to use their service Dept.

We bought a 2019 Tuscon. The engine stopped working. We towed it to Rexdale Hyundai. We have dealt with this dealership for many years and purchased 4 cars from them. We purchased years ago and it ran for 15 years. The dealership said it was under warranty and/or recall Months later they said our warranty was void because we got oil changes some where other than their dealership. So now we have a 2019 Tuscon sitting at the dealership and now they said they were going to charge us for parking. They want 7,700.00 to fix the engine. I would not recommend this dealership service department.

Ripping off an 81 year old widow is dispicable. They still have my snow tires...How do I get them back and know they do the job with integrity? Do I have to use their service to maintain the warranty? I just phoned for a service, appoointment and it was a lost cause! I gave up and hung up!!
