Amazing Overall Experience - Carchick
I was pregnant when I purchased my Escape so I wanted to have the least stressfull experience and the best price as I was about to go on maternity leave at the time. I had been to a number of dealerships before Oak-land and they did not succeed in making this happen for me. Oak-land was so easy to deal with from the get go. Very friendly staff (Lou and Adam were amazing) that went above and beyond..they even drove the car to my house for me before purchasing it to make sure it fit in my garage to my satisfaction (with room to walk around it) and that the stroller would fit as well. They gave me the best trade in value for my Cadillac and a great deal on the Escape. I am forever grateful to them for helping turn my stressful car buying experience into such a positive one.

Excellence Achieved - Happy Customer
While it may always be expected seldom do you today ever receive the level of care and attention when having others provide a service . The true exception was experienced today when having our Ford Fusion service at Discovery Ford. Indeed, the experience today was high lighted by Frank Otterspoor 's attention to detail and providing an excellence in communication in the process. Frank's personal efforts to make certain that he completely understood what service had to be done but he also made the effort to listen attentively to my simple way of describing the 'little things' which I thought needed to be looked after. Oftentimes a personal experience is remembered in a very special way. Our experience today with Discovery Ford and Frank's special effort to make sure things were done to our satisfaction has created one of those special memories. I wonder if this approach could not be followed by others in the future.

How to loose a wheel while driving - cd
In April I went there to change my winter tires and to have an oil change. After I drove about 200km I started hearing a noise, lauder and lauder. I went to the closest Ford dealer and they didn't let me drove my car from there, I almost lost a wheel. So I left my car there, Thorncrest came picked it up and apparently they fixed everything, I was reassured that it was tested by the manager. After another thousand km, same thing, with a different wheel, true. My car was in their shop for almost a week and they didn't bother to check all the 4 wheels. The mechanic that worked on my car the first time was fired, I was told , but the rest of them, knowing what happened you don't check everything.
I tried to give them 5 stars for friendliness, but that changes the overall rating. Oh, but I have to say, everybody was so nice, knowing what they did no wonder.

Ford Shelby GT350 - Irked
I Was lied to by the service department twice during two separate appointments at this dealership regarding parts for a simple oil change. Still have not received a follow up call regarding the status of the parts that were ordered beginning of June and it’s halfway through July now.
The only reason I’m writing this is because I was told there were no oil filters for my car available in Southern Ontario. I promptly found another dealership here with 140 oil filters for my vehicle in stock and I proceeded to have the work done elsewhere.
I am not a grumpy person who wastes time on the internet griping about bad experiences and maybe the people at Summit are quite capable of performing good service 8/10 times, I’ve just been ticked off to the point where I think they deserve a bad review.
