Took my 2014 Mazda CX5 in for check engine light. Needed a lot of work done fuel injectors etc. Aaron at the service Center was very helpful dealing with my extended warranty. He was able to get me a loaner car and kept me up to date with the process. Just got it back and it’s running like a dream! It was even washed and vacuumed!

I was in a total crisis mode as our breaks were not doing well, and no one anywhere could fit us in. Devon worked her magic and her calm reassuring voice and with quick problem solving she was able to get me in to be seen that day! I was so impressed and very grateful I'm a local customer but she just made me a lifetime customer with them now! 10000% service and transparency. Thank you Devon!

Brought my 2014 Q7 for repairs. - Victor A

Brought my 2014 Q7 for repairs. First I was told that I needed a new power steering hose. After being in the shop for 4 days, they replaced it and charged me $1200. Then I was told it’s still leaking and I needed to replace my power steering cooler and it would cost a further $1500 plus tax. Was suspicious so brought my car to a local Audi specialist (not a dealership) to get a second opinion. They diagnosed the problem as a loose clamp. Strange how the clamp was loose!?!? Shop repaired it for $100! Went back to Downtown Audi for an explanation. They downplayed it and refused to admit they did anything wrong. You can formulate your own conclusions. STAY AWAY!

Awesome Service Department - hiroanz

The JP Scion’s Service Department is awesome!! I took my Subaru BRZ (mechanically identical to the Scion FR-S) in for an oil change today. The service techs notice rodent droppings in the engine bay (I park outside, no choice), and clean the entire engine bay for me free of charge. I was very happily surprise when I got home, popped the hood, and noticed how sparking clean the engine bay is. I did not expect them to do that. That is service way above and beyond my expectations. The prices are also very reasonable, much, much less than what Don Docksteader Subaru charged me for the same oil change. I also appreciate the free ride Downtown. Thanks JP Scion, you’ve earned yourself a repeat customer.

amazing store they always explain, and prices are great not the usual store that gives you cheap basic service they recommend the proper amount of service for the area and don't treat you like the basic Vancouver client that is in a basic climate they taylor the service to be condusive to our conditions in kamloops like serviceing your brakes more frequently. just simply an amazing store they win you over with service and not just cheap prices

Poor servicing experience. They are constantly trying to upsell and don't do a great job dealing with complaints or resolving issues. The service manager is a nightmare - Daniel seems to be one of the decent guys that work there.

Worst service department I have ever dealt with!! Took them having my car for almost 8 weeks before I could even get a courtesy car, then when I did it was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. They do not care about their clients, neither does Mazda Canada. 2 years later and never a word back from Mazda Canada. AVOID this dealership/service department at all costs. Had to take my car back in a week after I picked it up, to a different location and found out parts of my engine put together with zip ties, yep that's how they fix cars!!

The service centre tried to charge me $147 for a firmware update, a service that other Mazda dealerships offer for free. When i called ahead of time, they said it would be $60. Crooked money grabbers. Avoid like the plague.

We bought our 2016 Mazda 3 GT Sport new at VIP Mazda in... - michaeljosephcarroll

We bought our 2016 Mazda 3 GT Sport new at VIP Mazda in 2016. All of the scheduled maintenance was done, on time, by VIP except for the last oil change. The engine seized at 114k kms. The VIP Mazda service manger told me that the engine had thrown a rod and put a hole in the block. He also told me that this had happened because the engine wasn’t lubricated… even though there was no “low engine oil pressure” light warning or valve lifter noise. He then quickly went on to blame the reputable garage where a licensed mechanic preformed the last oil change. I asked the service manager how much oil was in the engine and was told that there was no way to know as the technician had removed the oil pan already. VIP went on record on Facebook later saying “Our Mazda Canada Certified Master Technician inspected the vehicle.…the technician noted that although the engine was seized the oil was 0.5L over full.” Mmm…so which is it? I was then quoted $5780 to replace the engine with one that had 100k kms on it. There was no offer to help or any show of good faith from VIP Mazda whatsoever. I guess, after 5 years, they figured they had gotten what they could from us. This is an excerpt from a letter we received from Mazda Canada; “V.I.P. Mazda has advised us that they would be happy to help the with the cost of the repairs – by giving a better price, but there would be no involvement from the manufacturer. We thank you for the opportunity to review.” We had another mechanic replace the engine for one with a lot less kms and less money. Upon further inspection of the original engine, it turns out, a bolt from the crankshaft bearing cap failed. The head of the bolt broke off and was pushed through the aluminum block by the connecting rod. Probably a poor casting but certainly a factory flaw. Clearly none of this happened because of a lack of lubrication. It was a factory defect. Had the “Mazda Canada Certified Master Technician” spent just 30 minutes more, he would have seen the flaw…but they couldn’t be bothered. This is a dealership that will absolutely turn their back on you as soon as it appears that you have become less profitable. I find their dishonesty shocking and disgusting.
