I went to get my vehicle service at Jim Pattison Lexus North Shore for the last couple of years and this time the customer service was extremely unacceptable.
I had an annual service conducted and purchased a part which was on ordered, I let the maintenance manager know I would pay for the annual service and the part which was ordered once the annual service completed, I paid for the annual service and the part and had to wait up to two weeks for the part to come in as it was coming from the states no worries here.
Last Tuesday, the maintenance manager at Jim Pattison Lexus North Shore let me know my vehicle was ready for pick up via text message and to pay online which I thought was weird because I never received this kind of message with my previous service from Jim Pattison Lexus North Shore being in my opinion so pushy with payment, I messaged the maintenance manager back letting him know I would pay upon arrival of picking up my vehicle. Once I arrived I was presented with my invoice which also had the part on their as well, Jim Pattison Lexus North Shore had to look into regenerating the correct invoice as I already paid for the part with the annual service, no worries here.
While I was waiting I asked if my vehicle was washed. The lady at the service desk went out to my vehicle to check if my car was washed, came back and gave me my keys. I waited 20 mins for Jim Pattison Lexus North Shore to sort out my Invoice to pay for the labour to installed the part, no worries here.
I asked the Jim Pattison Lexus North Shore receptionist where my vehicle was as I did not see if pulled up by the staff member in the lane beside the service door as it normally was with all my previous services. The Jim Pattison Lexus North Shore receptionist said she did not know, then I said they must of left it in the customer service area, I saw my vehicle off to the side close to the road, no worries here.
I proceeded to my vehicle which was parked in a stall close to the street on the Jim Pattison Lexus North Shore lot 20 mins later after the invoice was settled and as I was walking toward my vehicle I noticed my mirrors were not folded in, my gut sinking, raised my anxiety level (sign telling me my vehicle was left not locked), then I looked at my door and all my locks were up my door, my doors were not locked, alarm would not go off if someone went into my vehicle, my gut sank again. I locked my vehicle.
I then proceeded back into Jim Pattison Lexus North Shore to ask the lady at the maintenance customer service counter why my door was left unlocked and said she left my vehicle unlocked when she checked to see if my vehicle was washed, I am not sure why she had to unlock my vehicle to check to see if my vehicle was washed, she took accountability with no apology for putting my safety and my vehicle at risk, I understand people are human, however this is extremely dangerous, unacceptable customer service.
Luckily no one entered my vehicle and nothing was stolen. This could of been worse, locks are on vehicles for a reason and all Jim Pattison Lexus North Shore staff need to ensure the vehicles are locked while leaving them unattended.
I have been coming to Jim Pattison Lexus North Shore for a couple of years as the maintenance technician provide great service in a timely manner, however I am not sure if I will be bringing my vehicle back to Jim Pattison Lexus North Shore anytime soon until they make some maintenance customer service procedural changes in raising their standards of safety to lock there customers vehicles and at least apologize to the customer.
