I understand that mistakes happen, however this was the third time that my husband had brought up the oil changes to your staff with nothing done to rectify the situation. They definitely had his name because he was making an appointment to have a recall done.

Hi Maggie Mae, I have spoken with both my General Sales Manager, as well as Tony, regarding the coupons that were not provided during your vehicle delivery (which occurred more than a year ago). They let me know that they did receive a call from a male customer asking about free oil changes in a deal, and that when it was confirmed that the customer did not have the coupons that would have been included in the deal jacket, he was asked to bring the bill of sale down to the dealership so that we could provide the oil changes as promised. As he did not provide us with his name over the phone for us to pull the deal, we were left at a bit of a standstill, since we cannot look up a customer on the spot without a name or VIN number. You have mentioned in a private message that we had his contact information since he had made an appointment for a recall, but the two items are not related, and I sincerely wish this had been brought to the attention of our sales managers or myself sooner so that we could rectify the issue prior to the past few weeks. Since that call, your husband did come into the store later that week with his bill of sale, and we provided the oil change coupon as we said we would over the phone. We are sorry that you did not have the experience that you'd been promised initially, and we have done what we can to resolve the situation. At this point, I am hoping to find out what you believe our next steps should be so that we can move forward from the situation.
