went with my daughter to discuss a vehicle she had seen on line at another Strickland location. After initial talk and tentative pricing, daughter still interested. They brought vehicle to Tecumseh. After test drive serious talk began and they inspected/drove daughter's trade of a small Hyundai. After consultation with sales manager the figures were presented with deductions for issues with her trade.Fair enough. One issue they SPECIFICALLY noted was a clockspring repair. They were deducting $1000.00 for this repair. When questioned we were SPECIFICALLY told that it was labour intensive. My daughter called the Hyundai dealership. The gentleman there was extremely helpful and cordial. He confirmed that a clockspring was a relatively common problem but added that it was only a one hour job and with the part, the repair cost was about $300.00. When confronted with this info she met with gobbledy gook about possible ""other issues"" and an indignant sales manager. Despite assurances from the outset that she was under no obligation, their attitude was disrespectful. Daughter felt very uncomfortable dealing with them further and nixed the transaction More
This dealership always goes the extra mile for new or repeat clients. Our salesman was Nick and he went over every conceivable item in buying a car from Strickland's. I was helped by Nick and Joel to make sure I understood the contract clearly. I was not pushed or forced. Nick also made sure I understood all the new extras on the newer car to make sure that I was very comfortable with it before I left the lot. This is my second car from Strickland's Lakeshore and I wouldn't go anywhere else. They have a full service maintenance department so I will be going back to keep the car in tip top shape. More

Dealt with two or three different salesmen who would sit us down, leave for 10 minutes, come back, forget some papers, leave again. Really unorganized and waste of time. I was promised a full tank of gas on the day of pickup, the low pressure in my tire was supposed to be fixed and I was supposed to receive a brush of some kind to fix up the bumps and light bruises the car had. Did not receive any of those things on day of. Went to get my car checked out at a different lot, fixed my tire, had a nail in it. Love my car today, hate the process I went through. Felt rushed and talked down too. Will not be going back to Stricklands. More
They charged me 1000$ to put a rust module in my car and they didn’t put anything. I didn’t even want the module but they kept bugging me to get it. I called them a day after I bought the car and told them I can’t find it and when I confronted them about it a couple days after, they completely denied it and said they can’t do anything for me then the manager came and was like “it looks like you purchased warranty with the module so if you pay 300$ we’ll install another one for you. After I paid the 300 I found out that the one they put in now costs 300, so they just charged me for a cheaper one and installed it. If you don’t wanna get scammed find a different dealership. More
