Very dishonest group of people. I went looking for a used car and once we signed I was told it wouldn't take too long to pickup the car. Everything was so delayed and after 2 weeks I had finally set a date to pick up the vehicle. I called in the morning to confirm my appointment only to be told that the car was not ready. I requested a refund of my deposit which was granted to me but not until four days later and not until they went ahead and already got me plates. It turns out this dealership is not licensed to sell starting Feb 2024. Extremely disrespectful. I now have history of plates in my name for a car I never owned. More

I dealt with Alain Benchetrit and his service is top notch. Alain let me borrow his car while I was at the dealer since I did not have my own with me at the time. In addition to that, he went above and beyond to make sure I could take the car home that day, even though there were lots of administrative issues that were not the dealers fault. After multiple trips to the MTO, everything was settled and Alain made sure to check in with me through the whole process. He is a man of his word and he means what he says. Alain is the man to see if you want a no xx experience in buying a car. Alain deserves a 5 star rating. Now, as for Platinum Cars as a business, I rated them 4 stars. There are a few reasons I am not giving 5 stars: 1) I was charged $80 for a tank of gas I did not receive. Alain fixed this for me, though. If you read other reviews, it appears this is a recurring problem. 2) For a "platinum" dealership that sells high end cars, I couldn't help but think as I wait to purchase an $80,000 car that the couch I was sitting on was dirty and had stains. Not a huge deal, but I think the place could be a little cleaner. They do have a very small coffee station, but that's it. I have been to other dealers with more accomodations and a cleaner environment. However, I'm there to buy a car and not to stay the night, so it's not a huge deal. 3) Organization. There were a few times where organization seemed a little off between employees. Maybe this was a once off thing, who knows. It happens. I don't think Platinum Cars as a business did anything "wrong", but as a business, I don't think they did anything "exceptional", either. That is my reason for the 4 stars and I hope the owner sees it only as constructive feedback from a customer POV. All in all, I would say I had a great experience, but I don't believe it was Platinum Cars that provided that experience. I believe it was my sales rep, Alain, who made everything come together. I would not hesitate to buy from this dealer again in the future. More
