Since I got a better (3000 more) offer from the Jeep dealer for my trade-in vehicle(where I did service), and I asked if they can provide me anything close to jeep provided to me... One of their employees were pissed and pointed at me and saying I am dishonored to them... He also asked me to pay them the time they spent on me... I was totally shocked, as I went to their dealer store is to negotiate and try to protect my benefit. I never say I do not want to buy ur car anymore... I do not think I am dishorned to anyone since I have not pay them yet... I do not even think I betrayed to anyone since it was Jeep contacted me(They just called me and said they felt my car was in a great condition and they would like to provide me a great offer). I definitely felt assaulted... Also, they never explain anything to me! More
Rip-off experience. Worst service experience ever. I bought a brand new Jetta on the summer 2016. The fall of 2017 I needed a front bulb replacement, so I decided to go to VW Myers in Kanata for an oil I bought a brand new Jetta on the summer 2016. The fall of 2017 I needed a front bulb replacement, so I decided to go to VW Myers in Kanata for an oil change, the bulb replacement and good general check because the car was running out of warranty. I also bought an extended warranty for more than $3,3745 while waiting for the service After an hour I was told that there were some problems with the bulb replacement and that it will take an hour an a half more. I said that I have the time to wait, but they said that they will charge me for all this extended time to replace the bulb. That is like $100 for a $5 bulb. I said I would't pay for any extra time because they are experts on changing a bulb, but they insisted that there was corrosion and they wouldn't damage the front light. I said, the car is fairly new and there is a warranty and now extended warranty, however they said it wouldn't be covered by the warranty. Later on the same week my car dashboard light warned me to stop, which I did and in my inspection I found that the coolant was BELOW THE MINIMUM!!! This basic thing of cheking fluids was ignored at Myers. I wonder if they actually changed the oil..... And yes, I cancelled the extended warranty More
Worthless Service and Parts I can't believe how useless this dealership is. I've let a couple brutal service appointments go unnoticed, but I've just had a sales issue so I'm letting people know that they should stay away. On one occasion I dropped my car off at 6:30am for a simple recall. I returned at 5:30pm and they were NOT FINISHED! It took an hour of me sitting in the waiting room till they completed the work. A more recent time I took advantage of a free 30 point inspection and to check a tire. Tire had a nail and was repaired for $40. Again, it was there all day. I went to my car to see the driver's door sill all scuffed up with dirt. I put the key in and a head light indicator was on? Isn't that what an inspection is for? Even more recently I purchased 5 spark plugs as I don't trust their mechanics anymore and it's been suggested to me many times to only use their dealer plugs for my model. Fella put the plugs in a bag and away I went (129.89 for 5 plugs on the bill) couple days later I took car to buddy and received a text from him that there was only 4 plugs in bag and that he looked all thru car with no luck. I went to dealer on a saturday at 4:45pm and it was closed, but the sales area was open. Tried to explain situation to a fella and was met with a robot response that no one could help me. To me, the experiences I have had are far from any type of customer service. Whoever the manager person is that emails me afterwards is not doing his job either as after a couple of emails of me describing my dissatisfaction with the service, he disappears. My advise and what I will do from now on, is that if my VW has to go to a dealer, I will take the time to drive across Ottawa to another dealership. This location bites the big hard one. By the way, I have owned 5 VWs in my life, I'm a loyal purchaser with no appreciation in return from this dealership. More
Disapointing to the the least I recently brought my 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan in for service because the sunroof was not closing properly and had some leaks. Found out that the sunroo I recently brought my 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan in for service because the sunroof was not closing properly and had some leaks. Found out that the sunroof frame needed to be replaced (thankfully covered under warranty). Upon receiving my vehicle back, I could not believe the amount of greasy fingerprints left behind all over my headliner. I returned a few days later to ask for them to remove the finger prints as well as fix the noise that was coming from the new sunroof. Once picking it up AGAIN, finger prints were half-assed cleaned off but the noise was gone. Long story short, I brought my car in 4 times for them to remove the finger prints as it is a brand new vehicle and those prints were not there before I brought it in. The final time, I was so frustrated I just made a statement to the service reps that their technicians need to take more caution or wear gloves when working on interiors and that I would not be returning. There was one service rep, Matt, who actually showed some empathy and said "I would be pissed if it was my car, I will go get Sean". He went and retrieved the Manager. Sean came out, I had to visually point out the marks to him for him to say oh okay, guess we will replace the headliner. I informed him I would be leaving town but would return to hopefully have this issue fixed. I have yet to hear from them and doubt I will. There is also a broken airbag tag located in the back of my car that was not like that previous to servicing, assistant manager said oh they wouldn't have done that... I have decided to put up with the fact that my headliner has stains on it from reckless mechanics who clearly don't care about customers satisfaction, or worse, that the service reps also could care less. I'd rather a dirty headliner then who knows what kind of job they would do on replacing it. I could go on about their customer service, explaining how they couldn't get a hold of me since my phone went to voicemail.. but did they leave a message? NO. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICING. This is beyond frustrating as I drive by this dealership everyday but will need to bring it to other dealerships as they are not to be trusted. They pretend to care. I also want to mention the surveys they send out, after being involved with the service department at least 5 times, I have yet to receive a survey.. They must really care what their customers think. More
Can't trust service or sales A service technician repeatedly floored my car (GTI and I have proof from an onboard tracker) when I asked them to look into a noise audible only when A service technician repeatedly floored my car (GTI and I have proof from an onboard tracker) when I asked them to look into a noise audible only when driving at low revs on the highway. The service manager apologized but my next appointment the service rep wanted to charge me for something I felt should be under warrantee. Eventually the manager offered the free service but my trust and respect was lost. Next I went in to ask about the 2018 Golf R. I waited 15 minutes and once Stacey Knowles finally arrived there was no apology, he looked agitated. I asked if there was an order guide for the car and he said no yet when I went to Bytek they were able to show me it. I asked for a $500 deposit instead of $1000 and he said no, then Bytek said yes. I asked about test drives and he treated me like an 18 year old looking for a joy ride; I was so frustrated with him I had to walk away from him. I emailed another representative, Matt Gregor, and told him about my poor experience. He did not reply. When I went to Bytek, Kris Peshev was welcoming, appreciated my time and great to deal with. They even have a Government Employee discount there (which Myers doesn't offer). I cannot suggest Myers, go to Bytek. More
Service department Almost every time we have taken our vehicle to Meyers for service work it comes out worse than when it went in and of course it is never there fault. Almost every time we have taken our vehicle to Meyers for service work it comes out worse than when it went in and of course it is never there fault.Went for an oil change once and didn't get the vehicle back for a week. Final straw now dont trust them to even fix what they messed up car will barely start. Will take it to another garage to fix what they did wrong. I can't believe they stay in business. More

They proceeded to sell me a lease warranty that was supposed to be taken off the purchase price , 4 years later , purchase time comes up , and behold "it's not how it works" - was the sentence I got from Dave Pearson which was the salesman at the time !, now that I've e mailed him saying I will deal with another dealership and said straight up that I wS lied to! He said he didn't appreciate that I didn't understand the contract and incennuated deciept !!!! Don't Deal Here!! We went to purchase a used vehicle . When we first drove in and browsed the parking lot no one came out to help us. We had went inside and we're finally asked if we needed help with anything. Dianne was friendly and asked us which vehicle we were looking at. She quickly got the keys for the vehicle and suggested we take it for a drive. So her, my fiancée and myself took it for a quick 10 minute drive and went back to talk numbers. They looked at my truck as a trade in and offered a Insulting amount for my vehicle. Both her and Chris were pushy with the sale, didn't give us time to think and talk it over. All and all we were happy with the truck. We did tell them they were outrageous for the amount they offered for my truck and they came back with a different amount , it was better but not good enough. Anyways it was getting close to closing time so we did some signing and left. We didn't use my truck as a trade in because they don't actually pay off what your owe on your truck like they say, it's actually put on the loan for the new one your purchasing ! We were told that our truck would be ready Wednesday or Thursday evening the following week. Unfortunately I wasn't available those days as I was working evenings and we suggested Friday morning at 9am , Chris fought with us ...10am Friday. Fine! So Friday at 10:15am we arrived to finish up paper work and pick up our new to us truck! Paper work was all ready of course! Truck wasn't ... Second key wasn't there , bracket for front license plate wasn't ready or on AND the front seats were still damp! PISSED! So we suggested they deliver the second key and bracket for plate Monday morning, they agreed, no problem! As we took the truck we started to notice stuff inside with the detailing, the roof inside the truck had dirt on it, the drivers seat had a patch of dirt, there was change underneath the seat and in the steering wheel was dirt! Not happy at all! When they called me late Monday afternoon about delivering the second key and license plate bracket I told Dianne that I wasn't happy with the detailing job and that if I had to bring it back again it would be cause of their doing and I would like gas in it as well. She said I can run it through detail again but not sure about the gas part. So I asked if their was a manager to talk to and she said she would talk to him and call me back. 3 hours of waiting for a phone call now and still no call. Might just drive it down there. I do not recommend this place at all. They are very rude and pushy. STAY AWAY!!!!!! More
They just don't seem to care This isn't a knee-jerk review after one bad experience - I've bought three new cars from Myers and serviced countless times, since they were in Bells This isn't a knee-jerk review after one bad experience - I've bought three new cars from Myers and serviced countless times, since they were in Bells Corners under their previous brand and right up to last week. The last experience will be the last time and prompted me to review and help others avoid. I think the essential thing is that whoever runs this dealership, or more likely the whole Myers org, has a poor idea of what customers want and it runs right through the organization. Almost every dealing I have with most of the staff has an air of contempt and their not really giving a crap. One of the most glaringly obvious signs of their lack of customer understanding, and it's something they post all over the dealership, are the signs warning you about the VW feedback surveys which you typically get after interacting with them in service or buying a car. These signs all basically say "give us 10/10 or call us to tell us why you aren't". This translates to "we want to avoid VW corporate getting any suggestion that we aren't great and we aren't interested in any actual feedback". Who does that and why would you not want the feedback? I'm amazed they're even allowed by VW to do this. Having visited other dealers, I'm not so sure about Hunt Club but Bytek has always been great. It's significantly further away for me but I'm going there next service. It's a completely different experience - you sense that they're pleased to have the business, give a crap and enjoy their jobs. I was actually stunned last time I went there (to buy my last VW last year) as up until then I'd thought crappy service was a VW thing. It's not - it's Myers - big enough that they don't have to give a crap about you, the customer. More
