Kia Service Worst dealership service department ever experienced in my 54 years on this earth. They put the word shady in shady car dealers. Went in to get a problem diagnosed with the car which is experienced in my 54 years on this earth. They put the word shady in shady car dealers. Went in to get a problem diagnosed with the car which is still in warranty. Was told it was the AC compressor which I suspect is wrong. However they stated that the part was on back order. This was Nov 4 2023. 5-6 weeks go by and I call about the back ordered part and also in that time other issues with my heating/cooling system start up along with what seemed to be a 12V battery system problem. When on the phone the service advisor put me on hold while checking with the parts department to see about the back ordered part. Comes back on the phone after almost 25 mins on hold and tells me it’s still on back order with no time frame as to when it will be in. Do at this time I make another appointment with service department to bring it in again and get the other newer issues looked at. Appointment is two weeks out. While waiting for this appointment I start getting random no heat issues. I call but can’t get a hold of anyone and they never returned my calls. So, I went into the service department. While there I’m trying to explain the issues to the service advisor and she seems totally confused and completely clueless and incompetent. So I said forget it we’ll deal with all of it at the next appointment when I can actually speak to the tech or someone that’s more knowledgeable about EVs. Day of appointment and I get a phone call saying they have to reschedule as their tech that is trained on EVs is out sick. Now with the holidays etc my appointment is not till almost mid January. At this time they say the AC compressor is still on back order and the new issues is a control unit and probably needs a new 12V battery (still under warranty at this time). They say they’ll order the parts and get me in when the back ordered part comes in and fix it all at once. They said they would keep the work order open until then and let me know. To say I was just a little more than pissed by this time would be an understatement. I called Kia Canada and they were even more useless if you can believe that. Now we are into March. I have dealt with the issues all winter. Not being able to preheat the car while plugged into the charger and random times I had no heat with having to cycle on and off the car or heater controls until finally it would work. Had to boost the car twice and not even sure what drained the battery. So I call again and finally get someone at the parts desk. Explain again for the umpteenth time the issues and asked if the AC compressor was still on back order. He says no they have had them for a while and I almost lost it especially when he said he had no order for me and also couldn’t find any service order (the one they said they would keep open) I was so pissed I just said xxxx it I’m not dealing with you clowns anymore. Absolutely brutal place. How they remain in business is mind boggling. If I could give a negative number rating that would still be too good for them. At this point I have decided I’ll just trade it in. More
Robyn and Eilisa are top notch, they are definitely experts in their fields! Everything was explained through every step of our purchase. Had an Excellent & extremely pleasurable Experience with Robyn Kimber on Sat. May 27/23. From the 1st "Hello"--it was as if you were meeting up again with a long last friend. She was very knowledgeable abou Robyn Kimber on Sat. May 27/23. From the 1st "Hello"--it was as if you were meeting up again with a long last friend. She was very knowledgeable about every vehicle we looked at without being the least bit pretentious or condescending. In the end, we found an exceptional slightly used car that is the perfect fit for us. Robyn went thru all the operations of the vehicle with us and had no problem answering the questions we did have. Bonnie Malette, Finance Mgr. was just as open and down to earth friendly as Robyn; and was quick and efficient in securing financing for the balance owing. On delivery day, Robyn went over all the vehicle operations again with us; and let us know she would always be available if any questions came up after the sale or any problems arose. Bonnie went over all the details of the sale and made sure there were no unanswered questions remaining. Judy and I found this was easily the best experience we've ever had in making a major purchase. If you're in the market for any used or new vehicle, We would strongly suggest you make Kia North Bay your 1st stop. Ask for Robyn Kimber, if you want a truly easy going, informative, and truly enjoyable experience--and you can expect the same quality of service from Bonnie Malette when finalizing the terms of your purchase. Bought a used vehicle from kia North Bay. Several issues including needing to replace brakes and tires within a week. I dealt with James Small and would NEVER deal with him again in fact I'll never seal with this dealership again. the worst service I have ever seen. bought a pre used car a 2018 hyundai Elantra and upon g again in fact I'll never seal with this dealership again. the worst service I have ever seen. bought a pre used car a 2018 hyundai Elantra and upon getting the vehicle I found I was sold a vehicle with a broken windshield washer fluid container and and a broken driver side door that doesn't unlock. it's been 8 months and they continue to lie to me by telling me they ordered the arts. yet i wait 4 weeks and call and all of a sudden they have no record of ever ordering them. after 8 months they all of a sudden try to pass the blame onto hyundai and that it's not their issue.. they will treat you great until the second you sign the paper and then your just a piece of garbage to them. the worst service ever. nothing but lies and they refuse to return phone calls at all. I've been nothing but patient and nice but after 8 months and no help I can't help but ensure that I leave my honest experience in hopes that it helps others avoid my same mistake.. shopping at kia of North bay! terrible service would not even recommend to my worst enemy. Buy used vehicle at own risk. Bought a 2016 grand caravan. Noticed within 3 or 4 days after purchase that transmission slips.
