"They like to sell cars, not service them."

I have unfortunately dealt with this dealership a few times over the past 7 years. They have a poor stock of parts and shipment of parts to them once ordered is slooooow. They have no interest in servicing their older vehicles and clearly look down on anyone that is driving anything more than 3 years old. They typically make comments such as "Oh, you plan to keep that?" when you try to get parts or service. In contrast when I deal with the local Chrysler dealer in town for a couple of our other vehicles they have good parts stock on hand, can get items always within a day if they have to order, and they spare me the condescending attitude about not having a brand new car. GM should be the same if they want to survive. I like my old GMC truck but GM support sucks.

"Excellent Service"

Bought my first new vehicle from Hillside Chevrolet. It came with 4 free oil changes which are so easy to to get done at there express service. I booked my appointment with michelle and she was very friendly and easy to get along with. Barb at the express had me in and out in no time and gave me a free car wash! I didn't have to pay for my oil change and got a free car wash, what more could you want? Will always be a loyal customer of Hillside!

"Terrible customer service, reluctant to fix safety recall"

Terrible service. I took my car for an oil change and waited at the front desk for 10 minutes, no one came out to help me. Finally a truck pulled up out front and two guys walked in with fast food bags and one of them said "Is anyone helping you?" and I said "No and I've been waiting for ten minutes", he said "What can I help you with then?". He didn't apologize for the wait or anything and didn't seem to care I was waiting so long. My car also had a recall for the ignition switch which killed several people in the United States. I asked him about it and he didn't seem to want to fix it for some reason. He was smiling (sort of laughing in a way) at me when I was asking about it. He said "well have you had any problems with it? I don't think we have the parts in to fix it". I felt like saying "No when I have a problem with it, I'll be dead." I also remember 4 or 5 years ago I had an oil change done at this dealership and I dropped my car off at 9AM and I went back at 1PM to pick it up and the oil change still wasn't done. I finally got my car back around 4PM for a simple oil change. So I will never go back to this dealership ever. Very bad customer service, very rude, very unorganized and they seemed very reluctant to fix a safety recall and this concerns me.

"HORRIBLE SERVICE "

We had a horrible experience with the service department of Hillside Motors this summer. Our car was not repaired properly it broke down again and the manager of the service department just laughed about it. Very unfair and very unprofessional I do not recommend them. The details of this horrible experience are just too much the write on this page. However I'll leave you with this if you went to a dentist and he found a cavity in your mouth don't you think he would continue to look for other cavities or just repair the one cavity and not bother with the rest of the teeth? Essentially, that is exactly what happened with our car. The fuel injector was found to be the problem with the car breaking down, well it turned out we had 6 of them but they only looked at one and replaced that and didn't bother to look at the others now I ask you is that thorough service? I don't think so.
