Earlier this year, I had to replace the front windshield on my 2018 Honda Accord after a freeway incident. To avoid the high cost of going through the dealer (approx. $2,000), I opted for a reputable local on my 2018 Honda Accord after a freeway incident. To avoid the high cost of going through the dealer (approx. $2,000), I opted for a reputable local installer who did the work using an aftermarket windshield. The work was done well, but I was advised the front camera might need recalibration. Months later, I received an error that disabled safety features like Brake Assist, so I brought the car to Diamond Honda on June 21, 2025, for a camera recalibration. Despite being unable to complete the recalibration, they still charged me the full $582. They claimed the windshield installer incorrectly placed the camera brackets, though this was not conclusively proven. Regardless, I don’t think it’s fair to charge full price for a service that wasn't successfully performed. The windshield installer (who was surprised Honda charged me at all) then had the recalibration professionally redone elsewhere for $350—which fully fixed the issue within a few hours. I returned to Diamond Honda on June 27 to request a refund. I waited 30 minutes (after being told it would be just 5) before meeting with their Service Director, Oscar Ramirez. Unfortunately, he came across as defensive and dismissive. Rather than showing understanding, he implied I should’ve expected problems because I didn’t have the work done by Honda. Ultimately, he agreed to a partial refund of $350, but only after making me wait another two weeks to prove the issue didn’t return—and requiring another scan of my vehicle. I came back on July 11 with no error codes present. However, the experience was even worse this time. I waited nearly an hour before even being acknowledged, and nearly three hours total just to get the promised refund. I never even spoke with Oscar—he walked by me multiple times without any acknowledgment. The lack of communication and courtesy was glaring. While I understand service departments can be busy, the lack of empathy, accountability, and professionalism I experienced from Diamond Honda has made it clear that I won’t be returning. I’m sharing this so others can make a fully informed decision before choosing to do business here. More

The time it takes just to get a proper inspection is unreasonable, and I was charged more than once for the same issue — which is unacceptable. I have to personally thank Brian, Jerry, Robert, and Rafael for their friendly, professional, and exceptional customer service. I had an impacted schedule and they were able to tune in on that and they expedited everything. We quickly came to an agreeable price (I did know what I wanted and what I was willing to pay prior to talking with them), but after that they quickly had the paperwork ready, and I swear that I was out the door in 20 minutes with a new car. Diamond Honda has earned a loyal customer. Thank you again! More

The two cars that I came down to look at each had interior damage that was not previously disclosed before I made the 4+ hour drive to choose between one off the vehicles. Had I known about the damage, I wouldn’t have ever considered the vehicles. Given that I was driving 8+ hours total to get a car, I decided to make the best of it and go with one of the vehicles. Little did I know, the passenger side door is making a clicking noise, which was not disclosed. The salesman always opened that door when we were viewing the car, so I didn’t notice this issue until I got home. Now I’m hearing that Honda’s “bumper to bumper” warranty won’t cover the damage to the car that was already there. They told me to drive 4 hours down to LA again so they could look at it instead of offering any kind of other option. I feel mislead and taken advantage of. More
