Capital Chrysler Jeep Dodge - Service Centre

Beware of Service Department I made an appointment to bring in my vehicle for some recall work and to check the engine light and dropped it off the night before. They mentioned they could probably start to take a look at it that night and give us a call. Never heard anything by 11am the next day so had to call to check in to see what work needed to get done, the vehicle had yet to be looked at. I stressed the importance of needing my vehicle back that evening. Was told it shouldn't be a problem, they work until 8pm. I had to call back again later in the day for an update since I never heard anything. They had to order a sensor due to the engine light and it wouldn't be in until the next day, and they recommended a power steering inspection since it was loud, I consented. I inquired about getting a loaned vehicle from them since it will be staying another night, they don't offer such service. Next day I had to call again to see what the results were, official inspection hasn't been done yet, and they said they noticed a lot of other leaks, they would do a more thorough inspection and hold of on installing the sensor until we knew all the work needing to get done. Didn't hear anything until the next morning, lots of work totalling around $2000 needed to get done. I called my regular mechanic to get a quote on what all the work would cost at their shop, the total was almost half, so I said I would just come pick up my vehicle. They said they wouldn't recommending driving it off the lot, but said the recall work was done so I can come get it if that's what I want. I got there, and the recall work was not done! They said it was too corroded to do the work. I accept that, no problem, but should they not have known this on day 1!? Not day 3!? Completely unacceptable. My vehicle was there 3 days and zero work was done on it, only inspections. Completely unacceptable seeing as how I had an appointment, it's not like I just dropped it off to see when they could fit it in. Very poor communication, I always had to call to see what was going on. (Employee was very nice and professional otherwise.) When I brought my vehicle to my regular busy mechanic, they looked at all the problems right away and said only one of the recommended services really needed be done at this time... total $400, and they could do it next day. Now THAT's service. I would never recommend this dealership and would never go back, I will drive the extra distance to find better service, price, and honesty. More

Absolutely Bad Service from the Service Department. I have had two of my vehicles in for service for a total of 5 times at Capital Dodge and every single time I have been made to wait extended amounts o I have had two of my vehicles in for service for a total of 5 times at Capital Dodge and every single time I have been made to wait extended amounts of time to get the service done. They set appointments but when you get there it's often... "well we are working on another job and it's going to be longer than expected" I have been asked to pick up my car at the end of the day only to be told upon arrival that they didn't have a chance to get to it and fix it and to bring it back another time. Although the Service Rep was very nice the Service Department as whole needs to up their game. They do not keep you up to date on whats going on or give you the correct amount of time it takes to fix. They just leave you hanging and waiting. I have also experience where the work was just not done correctly. They seriously need to improve their communications between the Service Department and the clients as well as the quality of workmanship. Because of my experience with the Service Department I would never buy there again... I wish there was another local dealer to compete and then they would notice a huge loss of customers and then perhaps they would do something. More

I have been dealing with Eric Ouellette in the parts dept this year and he consistently finds a better deal . Soooo much easier, faster ( and saves on shipping). Helpful, knowledgeable and Eric is REALLY fast at responding. Definitely recommend to fellow Jeep owner friends. I have also been impressed with the service guys. I dealt with Brent Smith this week and he was really thorough and helpful. More

Excellent Experience Recently, the A/C on my 2013 Caravan died. Normally this would be a warranty issue but we were over the 60 000km so I assumed I was out of luck. Expecting a huge repair bill I contacted Capital Dodge with the hopes that there might be some way to reduce the cost of the repair. I brought the van in to Capital Dodge and after diagnosing the problem, Assistant Service Manager Ryan Rodney called me to inform me he had arranged for the part to be covered by Dodge as a good will offer and, add to that the labour costs would be reduced! What was a $1600 repair came all the way down to under $250! I can't thank Capital Dodge enough, and Ryan Rodney in particular for helping me out! I was very, very impressed with the professional service and the willingness to go beyond the call of duty! Certainly made my day! Jason Lyons More
