Campbell River Hyundai used to be a great place to buy and service your cars. Staff are generally rude now and insulting at times (Emily and not for the first time). Poor communication from Shop Technicians. We have given them much business over many years and will now be taking our business elsewhere, which is a shame as we have known many fine, professional and trustworthy people at the dealership forever. Nothing but poor service Lies and drug pushing attitudes. Oil change left oil filler cap off and oil was all over the place dripping in fact. Talked us in to the synthetic oil package then if we wouldn't remind them its synthetic or they would use non synthetic oil when synthetic oil its priority after switching to it .They also left enough debris around the engine bay and oil filler a fire could have started, The sales man who sold us a new car had mumbled id never buy a new car to us our second trip in for service as if he never sold us the car. 350$ for a oil change and told my wife they flushed brake fluid ????xxx is that never heard of that in my life mean while coolant was low and oil was black as molasses. so doubt they changed the oil. I still smell oil when ever the car is warmed up. Hate that we feel like we cannot trust this place and so called red seal mechanics. cant wait to just do the oil change brakes and fluids myself and feel safer and save 1000% on false xx fee's .Great car but poor pawnshop attitude staff salesmen and air head service department.
