I stand by the work that my staff performs, and we never change parts, or bill hours, unnecessarily. It is a shame this client elected to call me a thief on my showroom floor, but he was convinced his shade tree diagnosis was the correct one, even though it disagreed with the actual work his car required. And by the way, my full name is John E. Raza, and I am not a 'condescending General Manager', but the proud and confident Owner. We have been selling and servicing Volkswagens since 1954, and since 1969 under my family's ownership. We have had numerous instances where we have admitted fault, and made restitution to the clients, with a full apology. What this client continues to fail to grasp is that in order to perform the $2000 of warranty work - on a 10 year old car - Volkswagen requires the client to bring the car to a minimum level of good running order. His vehicle did not meet that standard, and was thus obligated to pay for the normal maintenance required, in order to avail himself of other repair work under warranty. To put a final point on this matter, I will never accept any physical or verbal abuse of any of my team members - and I include myself on that group - and it was this verbal abuse that led me to escort Mr. Dlamini from the premises, resulting in his expected vitriol on social media.

Reputation comes with Humility Mr Razza.I never called you a thief ,that's pure insinuation .Those are your own words after you said that you will sleep well ( what a really mean comment ???) What more did I need to say ,than let you know I wont respond to the VW CSI and it will only will serve your conscience and mine that money gone is money taken. A normal thoughful and dillengent person would have run a proper investigation. But you chose to side step a clients concern .Your short sightsighted attitude is probably going to be your demise despite the years you claim you are doing an amazing job..Businesses dont need people like you who treat clients like the way you did .You were condencending and you should be ashamed of not even wanting to speak privately when I requested that.I have worked for an Audi dealer , so dont tell me the test plan was done properly because the data would show you actually dont have an idea of what you were talking about.I am not here to insult you but educate you that people do have bad days like everyone of us.Its always accepting that if the disputed code was very generic and run technical jargon on me and you think I dont know.what I am addressing. The tech that initially touched the vehicle may have had missteps and its normal things happen. Now as an irate client I had to drive not as far as the highway the Chk eng code popped up and bang on, the same generoc code P2563 came up again .So Mr Razza, why would the same code as before come up.if your tech fixed the problem huh ?The claim to have done a road test for verification purposes. is what most garages do .So because of demands and memory lapses, you assume we dont check our mileages in and mileages out. What did you really mean by saying the following ??? .".What this client continues to fail to grasp is that in order to perform the $2000 of warranty work - on a 10 year old car - Volkswagen requires the client to bring the car to a minimum level of good running order. His vehicle did not meet that.."... Doesnt this cry out condenscending if not obnoxious and arrogant ???? I choose to service my own cars because I am a fully qualified tech and why toss away money on what I can do. Honestly ,I dont care about the years service you have given people because one obnoxious moment like this can spoil your hard work which you duly deserve and have to be respected for..By the way, there was no service inspection report ,to show the gross incompetence your dealership.had . Volkswagen requires every dealership to do so and its not the client asking or demanding one.. .So tell me, what are you talking about when this has all to do with your reputation?Mind it and don't say this is character assassination because you sized me up and ran your insitutionalized BS on me.You had the audacity to walk me out because you were already feeling defeated and in no terms your staff was going to see you being lectured with facts. Let me give you a run down concerning this code if I may . Common mistakes when diagnosing the P2563 code? Not addressing code P2563 before other codes. This code may cause the other codes related to the turbo. So what got into the techs head and his advisor that the problem was primarily the injector seal leak when that code is turbo related ? If you can answer this one I bet you you will realize there is logic and systematic working.Be it a master tech or not the scan tool is never an answer but a guide to how you should methodically work paying attention to detail on how things work. My written concern to the advisor when I dropped off the car was, losing power when I floored my accelerator pedal and isn't that turbo related when you see a code that runs in sync with the turbo? My car initially had the P2563 code.So John was it worth you telling me the guidelines taken and assume I have never worked for that product ? So why did the tech go for the injectors PSI gauge and ask to change my seals according to his synopsis ? In my school of thought , tech sought other means to create an up-sell when the obvious was right in front of him is that not right ? .So then giving technician the benefit of the doubt he found 1 and 4 cyl leaks, a tech inspection report and an estimate would have been issued for me to decide as I would have taken care of it myself .Your tech was supposed to address the code that was hand and that is why I brought the car in the first place (warranty issue : Check eng codes in regards to the VW emmsiion scandal ) than giving me the usual protocol BS on a test plan he did. Did you show me the data and steps taken or advise me you will investigate? .No! but you ran a PR line on me like I was stupid as many clients who have felt lost in translation in the mechanics world .. Gladly, technician 2 did a great job and fixed my vehicle and I am happy the correct issue was addressed. BRAVO !!! .Its sad that I have to lay it out and show social media the bad rep you give yourself as a business owner .I genuinely asked for proper answers.I would not waste my time disputing what I am suspicious off and come to you to just insult you .I dont know you, I just met you and you made sure you are still out of touch with peoples pockets when your business needs to demostrate sincerity and correct values. Correct me with sound substantive arguments and with proof than talk at me Mr .John Razza .You know you messed up as you had no idea how many techs did the job until I informed you. You however ran to your service manager that preferred to answer my concerns via text until I demanded a call .Is that professionalism and a one on one with customers concerns? Notice when I left the yard I wished you a good day and never cursed you.. Please be respectful of peoples hard earned cash and have empathy that's all I am asking for future sake with others like me . At least to stoop.to their shoes than be condenscending towards them .I am not on social media to spoil your name I am just exposing points and specifics on how you failed a customer .You may have my cash but, let this be a stain until you decide otherwise or when HUMILITY decides to hit home. I did some online customer research about how you treated others like me.It' seems you are A NASTY PIECE OF WORK to deal with when people question you directly.
