Best Dealership Ever I usually purchase a new vehicle every couple of years. This was, by far, the easiest, nicest, smoothest experience ever. Royalty experience! As per usual, I feel like I have been treated with royalty from Ernie and his team at Brasso Nissan's detailing department. From booking the appointme As per usual, I feel like I have been treated with royalty from Ernie and his team at Brasso Nissan's detailing department. From booking the appointment to picking up my vehicle, I have received nothing but top notch service. Being a working mom of two, Ernie was willing to accommodate my schedule and even offered me a loaner vehicle while my car was being detailed inside and out. I was taken aback as this was something he went above and beyond to provide me with additional service. When bringing my vehicle in, Ernie and his team helped me transition car seats to the loaner vehicle. He brought my vehicle inside the bay and out of the cold so none of us were standing outside. He even took their vacuum to the car seats and shined up my infant car mirror that goes on the back of the seat! While dropping off my vehicle, Ernie and his team were so friendly to myself and my daughter. When my vehicle was ready, Ernie's team called me and asked how my day of volunteering was going. They even remembered what my plans were that day to gauge my pickup time! Again, when picking up, they transitioned my car seats back to my vehicle and had helped me with a few additional questions I had with some of the functions on my vehicle. I had my oldest daughter with me and Ernie was talking to my daughter about how much she has grown since the last time our vehicle was detailed. Not only is their actual service on the vehicle of the highest quality, I have never received such amazing customer service. I truly feel like Ernie and his team care about us as people and take the time to actually listen to and remember who we are. I highly recommend Brasso Nissan's detailing department any day. Professionalism, courtesy and respect is what you can expect I'm a difficult customer usually who is far more likely to write a scathing review than a complimentary one. Much to the chagrin of my spouse who has always been in customer service, I treat just about any salesperson with suspicion. My guard is always up, especially when dealing with realtors, insurance brokers and car salespeople. I frown on the requirement of every salesperson, even cashiers at the grocery store, to up-sell shamelessly any useless object the company was silly-enough to add to inventory (fries with a burger I understand, but I came for a car battery and you're asking if I'd like lip balm with that?). In my defence, when a salesperson listens carefully to my requirements but refrains from shoving something totally different down my throat, I leave satisfied and am prepared to wait until they can satisfy my need. I'm pleased to say that a defence strategy was not necessary when I dropped-in at Brasso Nissan in Calgary SE in response to their online advertisement of a vehicle for which my wife and I had spent months searching (and researching). Tim Latreille who was first out the gates when the service desk announced my arrival, greeted me with a warm handshake and offered me a beverage before even inquiring after the purpose of my visit, and, very importantly to me, without judging my attire. If he was sceptical of my intentions, he didn't show it. I was unkempt with disheveled hair, and wearing a sweater that was torn at the elbow, and sweatpants that were spotted with caulking from my last DIY bathroom project. My 10-year-old sneakers are scuffed badly. Tim brought out the vehicle promptly, didn't talk over me and answered my questions knowledgeably. There were one-or-two obscure queries for which he had to get answers elsewhere, like features that were included in models in the latter half of the year but absent in this one. I didn't mind. My initial inspection had confirmed that the vehicle was indeed what I was looking for. By this point, I had become more interested in how he would react when this scruffy prospect would pay cash for the purchase rather than seek financing. Higher-echelon drug dealers can pay cash, but they dress better than I, especially after a 24-hr day that incorporated a 12-hr nightshift operating heavy equipment on a mine. Neither my appearance nor the ramshackle rust-bucket of a trade-in that I offered invited even the semblance of judgement from anyone with whom I dealt at Brasso Nissan. When the financial services manager, Sherry Snyder gripped my hand in both of hers remarking how warm it was, I refrained from giving away facial clues of my scepticism that this was another sales technique. She was meeting me, after-all, when the sale was closed already, and during whose negotiation I had sent Tim scurrying back-and-forth to his manager with my exacting demands for my trade-in, and requests for discounts. It then fell to her to attempt the obligatory up-sell, a thankless task indeed. Sherry conducted herself with great aplomb despite my folded-arm resilience to everything. I bought one inexpensive, gimmicky theft insurance that smacked of loyalty entrapment that would pay-out provided I bought the replacement from Brasso Nissan. My introspection despite my exhaustion was that I would be happy to do future business with this dealership anyway. The paperwork finished, Tim drove me to the bank to get a draft. When we returned, the magnetic black Murano that I had purchased was in the docking area glittering like a diamond following detailing, and awaiting a detailed demonstration of its impressive list of features. They couldn't have picked a more pleasant, thorough and professional demonstrator than Tyler Longhorn to walk me through its baffling array of new-fangled gizmos and wireless, remote-enabled capabilities. I felt sorry for him when, with smug satisfaction, he tried to demonstrate how the foot-under-the-back-bumper trick would open the tailgate. As it happens, this vehicle is not so equipped My experience was positive and I have no hesitation recommending this dealership. More
