I was contacted by Adele to see if I might be interested in coming into the dealership to discuss trading in my 2010 Elantra for a 2013. Adele worked so hard on my behalf to get me the best possible deal on trading in my vehicle for my new car! I couldn't have been more pleased and impressed with her customer service, enthusiasm for her job and the product she sells, as well as her attention to detail, but most of all, the final outcome! The deal was finalized and my new car ordered, delivered, and in my possession within 5 days. I have been a loyal AutoValue Hyundai Customer, and Elantra driver, since 2002. This particular experience in attaining my current 2013 Elantra GT, however, was THE BEST yet!! I would, and will, recommend Adele at Autovalue Hyundai at any and every opportunity!! Working with Lucia was a wonderful experience. She was well informed, knowing the vehicle very well. She helped with the transition extremely well as I was trading in a 2011 Tucson and left a few important things in the old vehicle and she made sure I got them back.

The employees at AutoValue Hyundai are wonderful caring people. They truly genuinely care about prospective customers and ensure that all concerns and questions are dealt with and accurately answered. Adele is a wonderful salesperson; not pushy or demanding. She has a friendly caring demeanor and really takes the time to explain and promote the Hyundai brand. Jessica is pleasant and understanding. She really takes the time to fully explain the Financing side of the experience. Matt and Amelio are great as well. They booth take the time to interact with customers and really do care about customer satisfaction.

This past June the trailing arms failed on my Santa Fe while on the highway...took vehicle to Auto Value because there was a recall outstanding for the trailing arms and I had purchased my vehicle there new in 2002. They told me countless times they couldn't complete this work because my back brakes were so bad there was nothing to attach the arms to...and then quoted me $2,000 to do back and front brakes. My vehicle was not drivable so I towed it back home in order to save the money to have someone else do it for less money. I spent the entire summer without my vehicle. Then I came upon a licenced mechanic who told me the trailing arms had nothing to do with the brakes and to contact another Hyundai dealership - Performance Hyundai in St. Catharines. I did...towed vehicle there. They replaced trailing arms, no questions asked and also gave me a quote of $320 to fix brakes. I’m so disgusted that I would be lied to and taken advantage of and that I was treated this way by the dealership where I bought this vehicle. If they did this to me, who else are they taking advantage of?

On August 21st, I went in to research buying a Tuscon. At first,the salesperson was very friendly (read chauvinistic), giving me the once-over. Even though I felt objectified, I gave him the benefit of the doubt, (lesson learned) but when he started to understand that I was hesitant to commit on this day, he began with the hard sell. Talk about high pressure sales tactics! He began name dropping people that he thought would influence me into believing I was making a good decision. He even bulldozed me into puting $500 down "as a sign of good faith". (lesson learned) On that same day, I decided I did not want to buy the Tuscon. The salesman and the manager both rolled their eyes at me as if I had wasted their time. I was made to feel as if they had been doing me a favor. I asked for my money to be refunded and was given the silent treatment. Then, I was told that the lady who does the money processing was gone home and that my money would be refunded on Monday. I asked if I had to come in with my credit card and was told no, that it would be handled. I called on Monday and was told the refund had already been processed. By that Thursday, I had not seen the refund on my card so I called again. I was again told that the refund had been done. Ten days went by without the refund showing up on my Visa. I went in to the store at this point and was told, again, that the lady was not in the office to do the refund. I went in the next day and finally got the refund. While standing at the counter waiting for the transaction, the store manager gave me the once over as if I was a piece of meat. This dealership uses bullying and gender discrimination in order to make sales with women. They are not honest people, not decent in their dealings, at all.

I can only rave about my experience at Autovalue! I was thoroughly impressed with all aspects of the service they provided, and I will recommend the dealership to everyone. I would like to extend a special kudos to my sales rep Ian, and the financial assistant Melinda...they were both incredibly professional and went over and above for me! I love my new Tucson GLS!!!!!!!

In June I bought a Suzuki SX4. The very next day after I picked it up the check engine light came on. Right away I called and was told no problem make an appointment and bring it in. After talking to the service department was told that they cant even check the car there that it had to be sent out to a suziki dealership to be checked. I told him I would need a courtesy car. They did not get back to me with an appointment. After leaving several more messages as to when the car could be looked at and a few weeks later it was revealed to me that the closest dealership was in mississauga. Now its been almost 2 months and I have called pretty much every day or every other day trying to see when they can get my car in to be looked at and provide me with a coutesy car they tell me I HAVE to take the car to Mississauga. When we negotiated on the vehicle it was expressed to them how important it was for me to have a couple years warrently on this vehicle,it was never told to me that If i wanted to use the warrenty that I would have to go to mississauga. In fact they said, that this dealership has stoped selling suziki and turned into hyundai but that WE STILL DO REPAIRS on the suzuki. They even talked me into an additional $500.00 for a so called maintenance package for discount on repairs. This dealership was no HONEST at all in disclosing the situation with this vehicle. I am still sitting here waiting for this vehicle to be repaired as the dealership says its my responsibility and cost to get it to mississauga. GO FIGURE all this happened the day after I picked the car up. Makes you wonder if they knew there were problem with this vehicle to begin with and just put their own tester on just to get the light to go out for the time being when I picked it up. NOT HONEST AT ALL.
