Not a very honest salesman, says what he needs to say to try to get the transaction
Advised that he could have a car ordered and arrived at his dealership within 90 days guaranteed, however have been advised by his colleagues and other dealerships that there is no such "guarantee" when there is no stock of that car across the province. I was told by colleagues/other dealerships that it is impossible for him to "guarantee" what is going on at the production line, for that certain specification of the car to be available
Some other sleezy salesman tactics:
- Told the customer at the beginning that he had inventory of a car. But then in the middle of writing up the purchase order after customer had spent 3 hours at his desk, he apparently "just had the car sold" and now no longer available
- Left the customer multiple times during trade-in appraisal to pretend that there was discussion between him and back office about appraisal. But in reality, saw and tracked him go to the washroom and talk to other colleagues, and then come back saying "he had discussed with management" and unable to change appraisal value
