Absolutely HORRIBLE experience! Had an issue with my Yukon, rough idle and check engine light came on. Went to a car part store to have the codes read. P0208 & P0308. One is a misfire and the other is an injector issue code. Brought it to Kunes as I am newer to Milwaukee. Service rep called me and said they need to take it apart and look at the cams or whatever to find the issue with a quote of about $600. Then calls and says I need a new motor at $15,000! I told him I’d call back in a bit. I called back on 3-way with my mechanic that I used in my home city and she was asking him questions that they had now clue to the answers, like the compression leakage from the cylinder and a few other “mechanically simple” questions, but I have no clue about. Every question was answered with a “I don’t know”! Really? The rep said he would call me back after 1pm when the mechanic returned, he never did so I showed up about 3:00pm. He didn’t have all the answers but brought me back to talk to the mechanic. The mechanic said his code reader did not read the injector code, just the misfire. But the service rep said he had both codes in his records. He said he would look at it again in the morning! So the next day, they replaced the injector and spark plug. They call me and tell me all the codes are off and it is running fine. They still tried to charge me for the original labor to take it apart even though they never would have if the mechanics code reader was working properly (forgot to mention the mechanic even admitted his reader was having issues! So why not replace it?). So it went from $15,000 to almost $1,700. After complaining a bit, they took some labor off and said the mechanic forgot to adjust it bringing it down to just under $1,300. A normal price range for changing an injector and only one spark plug (which also blows my mind) should be around $400 - $600 according to quotes and research. Oh and I didn’t even get the courtesy car wash! Maybe I would have if I just gave them the $15,000 they were trying to swindle out of me! NEVER again will I go here (and I’ve been here a couple times). They say they pride themselves on honesty and integrity! What a joke that statement is! More

Worst car buying experience ever, I feel like a complete fool. We were rushed into buying a truck. We got there at 7 to look BIG MISTAKE we ended missing that a major feature was missing. Yes, our fault but we never really were asked any questions about what we wanted and what features were important to us. We are dumb and don’t know much about cars and models. The salesman never sat with us they just rushed around the dealership and next thing I know we are walking out with keys to a new vehicle they locked the doors and left before we did. It was dark and cold and never got to really give the vehicle a full once over before we made a decision. Yes, we test drove it but didn’t look to see if anything was wrong. We also purchased their warranty and we already have been denied getting things repaired the NEXT day. We feel like we were bamboozled. Pushed into a vehicle we didn’t even know if we wanted. It took an hour to buy it…. Looking back I should have thought that was a red flag. They basically pushed us out the door and with a truck that was pushed on us and now we are stuck. We’ve had the worst experience ever. I can’t believe we have been treated the way we have. We were lied to by the service dept. when we asked about an issue with the rear wiper we were told yeah it’s broken but the part isnt available so we aren’t fixing it, my husband found the OEM part online. Why did I buy a warranty?? I bought the truck a week ago and they are refusing to help us. I wish I had never walked into this place. The GM is a condescending jerk. I work in sales and have been a manager. This is not sales this is just taking advantage of people and then being the worst after they ask for some help. RUN More

We have no desire to go anywhere else and highly recommend talking to Ed and having your work done at this location if the above factors matter, which they should. More
Agreed with Sales Manager to unwind a new car deal after promised safety features were not delivered. It took 17 days for Kunes to return our money. This was a good dealership before Kunes bought it. Now their phone system is useless. Maybe he owns too many dealerships. I like the people that work there but his phone system is terrible. I received a text message to bring My pickup in on Monday for an appointment. I thought it was for the part I have been waiting for 4 weeks for the emissions system. Just to confirm, I called the number they sent me and of course I got a recording to leave a message. I stated that I will be there on Monday morning at 8:00 am. Call me if there there is any change. No one called. I dropped the truck off and headed home I was called while just about home that the part hadn't come in. So they did an oil change and now I am still waiting for the part. Very poor communication. More

Drove 5 hours to look at a truck at KUNES IN GREENFIELD WISCONSIN. First they lied to me over the phone about the warranty’s. (Attached the picture of the “lifetime warranty” that isn’t lifetime apparently cause it only refers to vehicles under 100k, like it says at the bottom) Which doesn’t say it on the site, they tell you that once you come in. Seems pretty scammy:/ I also had spoke to someone last week about warranty because on the website it had shown there’s a 3,000 mile warranty once you leave the store. When I asked them when I got there they basically laughed in my face and said “it’s a used vehicle, they don’t come with warrantys” which I can see, but I was told other information over the phone. So I drove 5 hours to be lied to. I had also called and spoke to someone and asked them to double check that the truck had a gooseneck hitch, the lady said yes it does. After loading my toolbox in, since I was in bed, I realized the hitch was not in fact a gooseneck hitch, it was the wrong plate: so again, i was lied to. I decided to drop the hitch part because I was just ready to get out of there. Then get the process of buying a truck and they knew for a whole week that I was coming. But they had no paper work prepared. I sat around waiting for them to figure out their loan stuff for 7 HOURS. After sitting for 3 hours waiting, my loan officer back at my local bank informed me she hadn’t heard from them for awhile. So I went and found the financial lady (MARY SISCA) and asked why nothing was being done. I thought that they had been communicating and I was just staying out of the way so I could get out asap. But no Mary yelled at me and said “I’m very busy today, I’m the only one here and you showed up unexpected wanting us to do all this work for you” I then showed her the messages, emails and proof that I had scheduled the apt for over a week. She was not nice about it and loan officer back home had asked me to send her a paper that she needed to proceed in paperwork. So I asked MARY for it and she then threw another fit saying “I already gave this to her. Tell her to check her emails because this has already been sent” being rude about it ONCE AGAIN. Then after I confronted them about them lying to me 2 times they moved us to a waiting room and avoided us the next 3.5 hours we were there. Not sure what they were doing, only information I got was from my bank letting me know what was happening next. They never once came around and checked on us. I finally got up about 330 and brought up that I was getting pissed off for being there for 5 hours and nothing was getting done. I told them I wanted this to get finished because I had a 5 hour drive home I needed to complete and didn’t want to be home super late. Anyways, an hour passed, at about 430 I helped myself to the back office where I found the GENERAL MANAGER (BILL EDERER), I explained to him that I had been there almost 7 hours, nothing is happening. He said he was waiting on a call from the corporate office so he could verify they received money for the truck so they could let it off their lot. Which is what we had been waiting for since 330-430… I said I wanted him to call because most places were about to close, he said “no, they will call me when they’re ready” . I then asked for the number then and I’d call them myself since he wasn’t going to do his job… he said no. BILL refused to give me corporates number even after asking multiple times for it. After having to threaten to call corporate to get xxxx figured out. My loan was “magically processed” within 2 minutes after I walked away to find their number. Cool, we got the truck. Later tonight I spoke with someone from the bank and they informed me on how MARY had given the wrong email to send paper work to (very professional) and that MARY had called her and let her know that we needed to “hurry things along beca More

Did a bait and switch. Called to see if a car was available and was told yes. Called back to cancel appt. for other reasons and was told car was sold the day before. The next day, got an email stating the car was sold last night (night after the day before). So, was told car was sold on two different days. Also was told to just come on in because they have a lot of cars for sale. Shady More
