Southland Dodge was opened in July 1968 by Joe Teuton Jr., Jeff Teuton, and Dennis Oncale. Joe and Dennis were experienced auto technicians at Downtown Auto Service on Lafayette St, and Jeff was a college graduate in Business Administration from Southeastern Louisiana University. They were also avid drag racers, and they were all under 30 years of age. The first location at 505 Sunset Ave featured a one-car showroom and a 10 car parking lot. Their racing background helped them to sell lots of Dodge Superbees, Chargers, and Challengers in the early years.

I purchased my vehicle from an out of town Dodge dealership. It is due for its first oil change. I made an appointment online with Southland Dodge. I received a call from the service manager stating dealership. It is due for its first oil change. I made an appointment online with Southland Dodge. I received a call from the service manager stating the appointment was cancelled because I had not purchased my car from them and that the owner of Southland Dodge and the owner of the Dodge dealership I purchased my car from had an issue with each other so Southland Dodge was not willing to service my vehicle. This is very petty and childish. The owner needs to grow up and act like an adult and not take it out on customers who have nothing to do with his beef with another Dodge dealership. More

I have been a loyal Ram owner for the past 15 years. About 3 years ago my ABS module went out( yes I did not have ABS for 3 years, good thing insurance didn’t find out). When this first happened CDJR de About 3 years ago my ABS module went out( yes I did not have ABS for 3 years, good thing insurance didn’t find out). When this first happened CDJR dealer in different state(I’m active duty military) placed back order or so I thought. I dealt with Mopar directly and for three years the other service department on this issue. I was about to be done with CDJR products. However, I decided to see if Southland could assist. The parts department, the service department, and mostly my service advisor got part in and installed within 4 months..😳. .My truck now works as designed and as I purchased… thank you for valuing you costumer and the products you serve!
