Key fob not working when car returned after service I brought my car in for oil change. Nothing wrong with the car but when returned Key fob was not working. VW technician admitted that when he drove my I brought my car in for oil change. Nothing wrong with the car but when returned Key fob was not working. VW technician admitted that when he drove my car in to service bay. Key fob was working. Instead of Corey Delmonico resolving the issue telling me that what if water pump breaks when car is in for service. I told him at least I would like to have my car back in the same condition when it was dropped in but he wants to give me a deal on key fob diagnostics. Update: Ken (Service Manager) approached me and offered free diagnostics for key fob issue. Got estimate $700(approx.) to fix key fob issue. I wish VW would have taken the full responsibility and fixed it instead of just giving free diagnostics. Conclusion: VW Jetta's are very pricey to maintain. Recently spent over $2000 to replace DMF (Dual mass flywheel) and now key fob issue. More
