Robert Tasi is the General Manager of Georgetown Kia. He has been with the dealership since 2007 first as a Sales Manager, and quickly took on the GM role as well as personal investment in the dealership. Rob’s passion for the industry and Georgetown Kia is driven by his intent desire to provide stellar Customer Service, and to always strive for above and beyond. This set of goals is what truly keeps Georgetown Kia in a class of its own. In his spare time Rob spends quality time with his family and is also an avid fisherman.

Don’t walk, RUN away from this dealership. This dealership is home to worst kind of scam artists you’ll ever encounter. My wife got her 2017 Kia Sorento from this place years ago. A few weeks ago, we had some engine troubles while driving on the highway. We pulled over & had the car towed all the way from Vaughn to this dealership as this is where we bought the car and thought they could be trusted. A few days later, Rodney from service called my wife and said the engine was toast and it was going to be $16,000 to replace. He did not explain to her what actually happened and when I called him, he told me it was a “engine failure” and our fault for not bring the vehicle to them to do our oil changes. He would not give me any real details. Said he would have to go get the tech to get more details and made it seem like a burden to get the answers we deserved. I didn’t understand how you couldn’t tell someone all details when it was such a costly repair. They immediately wanted us to buy another car from them knowing we still had payments on the car. With the little to no information Rodney was giving us, we felt uncomfortable and made the bold choice to just pay the service bill and have the car towed out from their dealership and taken somewhere else. Lucky thing we did!! The 2nd opinion we had, fixed my wifes vehicle for less than $500 without replacing any engine or any of the lies Rodney told us and she has been driving it with NO ISSUES or engine lights for almost 2 weeks now. My wife did tell the sales guys at Kia Georgetown that we fixed the car and didn't need him to find us a new one. We assume he relayed that to his service team because right after that Daniel, their service manager gave her a call and once she told him the car was fixed, he proceeded to tell her it was just a temporary fix and the problem would come back & that she should bring the vehicle back to Kia Georgetown so they could look at it again. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! & I couldn’t believe he actually said that after his team just lied about our vehicle being broken/not repairable and pretty much making us think our financial status was about to get really messed up. My wife is pregnant and we are young family. Kia Georgetown made this a very stressful situation for us. From what we can tell, Kia Georgetown didn't even try see what happened to my wifes car. They ran with a story they thought we would believe and even tried to get our car traded in to them for $500. I called the General Manager, Rob, for Kia Georgetown on June 30th and explained this whole story to him. He said he would talk to his team and find out what went wrong. I have heard nothing from him since that day. We will NEVER come back to this horrible place & truly hope you guys go out of business if this is how you treat your other customers. Hopefully this review saves others from getting screwed by Georgetown Kia! More

Unbelievable how rude, arrogant and classless this character Luis is. I will never recommend this dealership as long a tyrant bully like him is employed there. The guy jerked me around regarding an inspection for an issue on the vehicle I just purchased. When I told him I felt he was being slimy for selling me a vehicle and then using fine print and legality to avoid helping me with the cars serious issue. He went into a power trip and asked me to leave and said he would never assist me. He then continued to follow me out of the dealership telling me to get off the property. He also threatened to call the police on me to have me removed. Disgusting behaviour to a customer who just purchased 2 vehicles in a week there. This man Luis is sick and should not be in a supervisory position or left to deal with customers on any level. More

I was sold a vehicle that was safety approved - I paid 21K - but it did not have working heat. I bought this car so I could transport my growing family, we were expecting baby #3 - I made it clear I needed a FAMILY vehicle with the basic heating/cooling components working. I also made it clear that we do not have another vehicle so this will be the only one we rely on. I brought the heating issue to their attention to which I was told it's not their problem and I need to figure it out myself - I then contacted OMVIC and was told basic heating is a safety issue since the windshield will fog over and the car is not driveable in that state. They finally agreed to 'help me out'. We went back and forth and they didn't have a solution, finally went to the car maker's dealership for diagnostics and they reported an issue with the evap core and when the report was sent to KIA they said they dont believe that to be the issue... this is after 4 months of trying to diagnose the problem. They again tried a couple surface level 'fixes' to no avail. Upon recommendation from OMVIC I sent them an email requesting a resolution, to which I was flat out told they aren't willing to help. This caused the engine to overheat and basically the vehicle was destroyed within 6 months of ownership. The sales reps don't call you back once you've committed to purchase - their concern is with making their money and getting out. KIA was 'generous enough' to offer to 'buy back' the vehicle from me at the 3.5 month mark and offer 11k for a car I paid 21k for, claiming I had driven it 7,000 kms and that devalued the price of the car. I was willing to part with 1-2k since I did drive the car (mostly to and from Georgetown Kia) - but to offer me half the value?! What a joke! If you value your money, or the well being of your family, DO NOT deal with Georgetown KIA. This is the type of dealership that gives all car dealerships a sleazy/bad name. More

Last week after purchasing a $3.00 bolt at CTC, I received 3 email satisfaction surveys. This is a stupid waster of my time and yours. If the management of your company does not already KNOW how good or bad the company performs, your company needs to hire Management who are good enough to figure it out on their own. ANOTHER AMAZING EXPERIENCE! !! A little over 8 years ago, I financed a 2009 BMW 323i from Rob Tasi and his staff at Georgetown Kia. Was a GREAT vehicle and had no major issues !! A little over 8 years ago, I financed a 2009 BMW 323i from Rob Tasi and his staff at Georgetown Kia. Was a GREAT vehicle and had no major issues, and was a vehicle I drove, roughly, 30km/day. The moment my mechanic told me that I needed some major repairs, I, literally, that night, called Georgetown Kia, after hours, and left a message saying that I was interested in buying/financing another vehicle through their company AGAIN. I received a call, that SAME NIGHT, from Rob Tasi, and he set up an appointment with me that next day! 8 years later, I met with Rob, at the dealership, and once again, felt so welcomed. This was all during the Easter Weekend, and at no point did I feel like I was an inconvenience, or that they weren't willing to help me during this period. Rob introduced me to a gentleman named Harman, and HARMAN was fantastic. From the minimal info I had given Harman, about myself, he gave me 3 great options that were, honestly, 2 of the 3 options I had looked at test driving based on my own research, the night before. I spent quite a few hours with Harman just discussing all the pros and cons of all three vehicles. Was a very helpful experience, and Harman really knew all 3 vehicles from top to bottom with was extremely beneficial. I was still undecided after all of Harman's in depth advice, but, ultimately, the test drive was my deciding factor. I chose a very similar vehicle to what I had purchased/financed through Georgetown Kia before, and went with a BMW 330i xdrive. Just a beautiful vehicle, and I'm quite confident that I've made the right choice again. Thanks again to Andrew.Whale for all his financial advice and help, to Harman for all of his in depth advice and knowledge, and to Rob Tasi for setting all this up, and for another great vehicle.
