They were friendly but laid back as much as used car salesmen can be (they didn't over bug me during the decision process). They were extremely customer service oriented and really aimed to please. My wife and I were in the market for a used RDX. Earlier in the week we almost bought a used vehicle from a different dealer. After feeling pressured and tired, our search led us to Criswell. The beginning was a lot of emails back and forth until we could find a time to drive down to Annapolis. Upon arrival we met with Vance Ellis who was very friendly and ready to introduce us to a 2011 RDX. After a nice test drive, we went back to the dealer and met with Alan Hannon, who was also very friendly and open. At no time did we feel pressured to buy. Both were very open and honest about everything. When it came to financing, we met with Dave Grasmick. He too was very honest about what he could and could not offer. Even after the purchase the education was on going and we just felt very comfortable every time at Criswell. We would definately purchase another vehicle in the future from this dealer. More

This was just the greatest car buying experience. We were on the hunt for a used MDX and in the process visited many dealers (and many more before realizing we wanted an Acura). In the end, Criswell just had on the hunt for a used MDX and in the process visited many dealers (and many more before realizing we wanted an Acura). In the end, Criswell just had the best deal and service. Vance and Alan were so terrific. The car was in terrific shape and then we got a full tutorial on how everything works well after the sale was completed. I feel like I could walk back in that dealership and have two friends I could trust to help me and answer any questions. More

I had an excellent experience at this dealership. Things were handled quickly and correctly. They were all friendly and remembered me and my boyfriend any time that we called or came in. My husband and I were in search of a new or slightly used 2011-12 Acura RDX with the technology package. After unpleasant and high pressure dealings with sales representatives from Radley Acura and Rosentha 2011-12 Acura RDX with the technology package. After unpleasant and high pressure dealings with sales representatives from Radley Acura and Rosenthal Acura, we thought all Acura dealers in he DC metro area were the same. We decided to try Criswell Acura, thanks to the DealerRater ratings. Wow! Alan was a pleasure to work with regarding our purchase of a CPO 2011 Acura RDX service loaner. Alan knew his product well, and was very low pressure at every step. It was a pleasure to buy a car from him! Alan explained the Acura Certified Preowned Program without hype, and reviewed the maintence history of my RDX, which was a Criswell service loaner. He had the complete vehicle history in one folder, and reviewed it all with me, like a report card. I rated the Price a 5 because Alan was honest on what he could offer, and could not. Regarding our trade in value, he couldn't match CarMax, but he did offer for someone to come and pick me up from CarMax in Woodbridge, VA, and drive me to the dealer in Annapolis. That is another example of great Criswell customer service. Vance assisted me with the delivery of our RDX, and he ensured it was detailed perfectly - and it was. The XM radio, traffic and weather took almost 40 minutes to activate, and he was patient and apologetic for the delay. David, the finance director, was totally low pressure sell on additional warranties, sealants and other add-ons. He made the paperwork process of the purchase fast and easy. When I walked into his office, David was organizated, nearly all documents were already printed, and the process was fast and as painless as it gets to buy a car. The post sale follow up was excellent, too. I have received a nice thank you email from Alan, a personal phone call from Alan, and David, the finance director. Since I am titling in Delaware, David was particulary good at follow up to ensure my Delaware tags are issued before my temporary tags expire. More

I live 2 hours away from this dealership. I spoke with Alan and Vance over the phone regarding the vehicle I wanted and when I got there they greeted me by name without me telling them who I was first. They provided the BEST costumer service that I have recieved in a long time. I was a little scared that I would drive such a distance and be dissapointed. They were absolutely FANTASTIC! The vehichle was in the exact condition that they explained to me over the phone, the prices were the exact same that were quoted over the phone and the entire process was smooth and timely. Alan Hannon and Vance Ellis are the greatest things since sliced bread! More

I've been with Criswell Acura for 10 years and have had all positive experiences including my most recent MDX purchase experience with Alan Hannon and Vance Ellis. There was no pressure or pitchy verbage all positive experiences including my most recent MDX purchase experience with Alan Hannon and Vance Ellis. There was no pressure or pitchy verbage just informative helpful information that allowed me to make an educated decision. After spending a great deal of time going over the vehicle features and clearly defining price options the decision was clear. In additon, several staff members were most accomodating to my two girls as they waited patiently during the purchase process. It is evident Alan and his team understand that customer service is crucial by making the process pleasant and giving us personailzed attention on all levels. My recent purchase experience at Criswell Acura was seamless due to Alan Hannon, Vance Ellis and Dawn Harper(finance manager) and I look forward to continued service there. I not only recommend purchasing an Acura but highly recommend purchasing one from Alan Hannon and his team! More

Went to Criswell looking specifically for a CPO MDX. I had been shopping for about a week and it happenned to be the hottest day this year so far. Vance was very helpful and low pressure. I test drove the vehicle and explained I needed to bring my wife back to look at it also. When I brought my wife back they had moved the MDX into the shade so it would not be as hot in the vehicle. We test drove it again and were sold. The experience was the best I had ever had in a dealer Mike another salesperson worked with Vance on my trade and I had a specific price I was looking to spend and everything worked out great. I went in Pre Apprved but Dave got me a better rate and the got me out the door faster then I could have ever imagined. Thanks again to all of them for a great car buying experience on a super hot day. Brian Phelps More
