The commitment to the customer is thorough, and immensely successful. Anyone we've dealt with seems to have the same training, and the same (sincere) approach. Recently, we had two last-minute service needs and Smythe not only found the time for us in the schedule, but did so with enthusiasm! On one occasion, our newly-licensed teenager wanted to take a trip the next day to Connecticut but the car was due for service, and we didn't want him to travel if it wasn't accomplished. When I explained my concern to Tina Dewald, she gladly made room, since she understood the need for our parental "peace of mind"! On a second occasion, we had a more serious issue, needing the car serviced, again, last minute, to allow travel in and out of NYC for a medical emergency. Again, Tina listened and did all she could to make our appointment, not only swiftly but with genuine concern for our kids who would be using the car. Business is business, but it's about people, which makes it personal. Smythe completely gets that. We have no need to have our vehicle services anywhere but Smythe. More

I knew I wanted to work with Smythe because of the amazing service they provided to my old car. The entire service team is friendly, knowledgable, and a pleasure to work with. Deb really listened to everything I was looking for and found the perfect car for me. She didn't try to sell me on any bells and whistles I wasn't interested in, which was such a nice change of pace. When I went to pick up the car, she sat with me explaining what every button and switch did until I was comfortable driving off. I left the lot feeling confident that I could call her any time with questions, and I would definitely work with her again in the future. More

My most recent purchase came days after an accident involving one of the above mentioned vehicles. The transaction and negotiation was pleasant, the attention was very personal and I felt well taken care of. Then the car suffered a problem with the crank case ventilation and the breather box and while I had bought the car “as is” the team at Smythe (Tina, Mike, and Dina included) notified me that an otherwise 1500$ repair would be done for me gratis. This is a top tier service and products supplier of all things Volvo and I want those guys and everyone out there in Internet land to know that you can go other places, but you would be wasting your time. More
