Buyer beware 6.7 ford diesel I want to warn people so they don't fall into the financial hole I got in DO NOT BUY A FORD DIESEL MOTOR. My high pressure fuel pump failed at 117000 I want to warn people so they don't fall into the financial hole I got in DO NOT BUY A FORD DIESEL MOTOR. My high pressure fuel pump failed at 117000 miles. The dealership wanted $15252 to replace fuel system. I had an extended warranty till 125000 miles but it timed out on dec 16 2016.dealership said it was out of their hands. Called factory ford. They said they,at the dealerships recommendation,would not help out in anyway. I babied this truck. Filters changed on schedule.regular maintainance ect. Not a fuel problem bec the Chevy Duramax that towed me back to house filled up at same station right behind me. Bought two new ford pickups in past-never again GOING TO BE $10000 to get a $40000+ Truck to be able to run. For how long God only knows. And last but not least another dealership told me they have done 9 fuel rebuilds. It's a problem and ford is well aware of it More
