On April 29 2013, Checked on South Oak Dodge "Grand Caravan" inventory on their website, emailed South Oak Dodge & received an email reply. Received a call from Shannon Guest within an hour and setup an appt in 2 hrs. Met with her and she introduced me to David Brown for "Sales". We talked than gave me the keys and told me to take it on a test drive (alone). We finalized the sale and I was out of the showroom with a new 2013 Grand Caravan within 3 1/2 hours. David Brown, an all around excellent sales associate and good person. Toward the end of the process, Shannon thanked me for the purchase. I, in the past, have purchased 2 new vehicles from South Oak and still have them (2001 Ram Van & 2008 Ram Truck). Also in the past I accompanied my daughter and my aunt on their purchase of new vehicles from South Oak. Thanks David, Shannon, & South Oak. More

I have given the rating of 5 "GREAT" because A.J Knoll and Ryan Ganser took the time to make sure I was completely satisfied with the vehicle I purchased. Although, the vehicle was not the one I had requested and put down a down payment of $1,000.00 to HOLD. The dealership that had the vehicle had sold it. A.J Knoll was told the vehicle was sold when he arrived at the dealership with the check in hand to purchase the vehicle because that dealership did not find one at South Oak Dodge to swap metal for metal. A.J did his best to make sure I was satisfied and apologized for what happened. But, the mishap was all out of his control. A.J had to leave before I came to South Oak Dodge to pick up the alternate vehicle he brought back for me. He called and ensured me Ryan will assist me with finalizing the purchase. Ryan was very apologetic for what had happen and made sure I was completely satisfied with the vehicle. Thank you A.J and Ryan, I appreciate everything you did. Although this was an experience, I am very happy with the car. I think come winter I will appreciate the heated seats more than the blue tooth hands free device. More

After shopping around and visiting quite a few Jeep dealerships, I decided to contact South Oak even though I live in the north suburbs and they were over an hour away. I initally worked with Shannon dealerships, I decided to contact South Oak even though I live in the north suburbs and they were over an hour away. I initally worked with Shannon Guest via the internet and Shannon quickly provided me a quote on a new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland and was also able to give me an accurate estimate on my trade-in which most dealers will not do without you walking through their door. At no time did I feel any pressure to stop by and was not subject to any game playing that the Jeep dealership in Downers Grove tried to pull. I decided to make the trip to South Oak and it was well worth my time. I spoke with their sales manager Mark Hester who had me work with their sales consultant Ryan Ganser. Ryan clearly explained all of the features on the vehicle that I was interested in and he was very knowledgable about the product. Again I did not feel pressured whatsoever and felt very comfortable working with Ryan. After agreeing on the vehicle that I liked I gave him the pricing that Shannon and I agreed to over e-mail. Mark then approved that pricing, no questions asked. I then worked with Al in finance who got me a great rate and was a great guy as well. Again, no pressure to add extended warranty's or any other add-on's. This whole process took less than two hours and I headed home in my new Jeep. This was by far the best car buying experience that I ever had.The pricing and service that I received from Shannon, Ryan, Mark and Al where second to none and I would highly recommned them. I usually trade in my vehicle every couple of years and there is no doubt that I will be back to South Oak. More

Went in and met A.J.Knoll who immediately previewed the Jeep and had me drive it ensure I was satisfied with its capabilities. I was then introduced to Ray Cioe to work out competitive pricing. Ray arranged an agreed price and Craig Courtney finalized the paperwork. Al Cieniuch throughly reviewed the financing paperwork with us. Craig Courtney then completed the transaction by handling the car prep and ensuring we understood the features before we left. The South Oak Dodge Team was very professional with a no pressure process. I was impressed and would recommend anyone looking for a car to visit South Oak Dodge. More

Marvin started out showing great respect for what we were looking for. We came in with a specific options and costs in mind. After explaining our needs my husband and I went out to the lot alone while we asked Marvin to find some vehicles and costs that fit our needs. Upon returning to the showroom we had chosen a specific minivan on the lot and as chance would have it Marvin had pulled the exact file prior to our return. This told us he had listened well to our exact requests and that there were not going to be "salesmen games". The finalizing of both price and trade in was one of the quickest and smoothest processes we have been through. As a family that purchases new cars frequently we have had our share of challenging salesmen and dealerships. Both South Oak Dodge and Marvin Richardson were accommodating, respectful of our time, and made buying a car enjoyable. Our car buying experience with South Oak began with a request for an internet quote. The price we received from South Oak was by far the lowest price we had received from a dealer for the Grand Caravan. When my husband contacted Shannon by phone, she was able to help us begin the paperwork over the phone to begin the financing portion. We were then put into contact with Scott Chenoweth and when we arrived at South Oak we were immediately shown the car we were purchasing, began signing the paperwork, and were whisked off to the financing office to finish the sale. The entire process took less than 2 hours, and we were driving off the lot with our new car. Shannon and Scott went above and beyond my expectations during our car buying experience. They were friendly through email, on the phone, and in person. Our overall experience was excellent and by far the best car buying experience my husband and I have had. More

Jim Matt and Shannon Guest were great. Shannon promptly responded to my email inquiry and Jim took it from there. He basically worked out all the details with me over the phone and had our new car waiting responded to my email inquiry and Jim took it from there.
