I have over thirty years of service here at Smythe Volvo. When I started here, I was pulling weeds, dumping oil buckets and doing general facility maintenance. Eventually I progressed from a Technician to a Master Technician, Service Advisor, Service Manager then Service Director. My favorite part of working here at Smythe Volvo is that we invest our business energy into safety. Over the years, we've had many customers who survived accidents because they were in a Volvo. Additionally, we've had many police officers who come in and bought a Volvo because they've been at the scene of an accident and seen how a Volvo saved a person's life. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, specifically going for walks with my three sons.

Okay. We all know that taking the car to service is a huge groan. The folks at Smythe Volvo are the exception to the rule. My appointment was for first thing on a Monday morning (What was I thinking?) huge groan. The folks at Smythe Volvo are the exception to the rule. My appointment was for first thing on a Monday morning (What was I thinking?), and I'd asked for a loaner. I figured the transition was going to take a while and advised my boss I'd be late to work. To my pleasant surprise, the necessary paperwork was already prepared and organized; all I had to do was sign and hand over the key. The loaner car was fueled, ready, and waiting with the door open and the engine running; all I had to do was hop in and leave. The drop-off process could not have been smoother, more efficient, or pleasant. BTW, I was on time for work and my boss thinks I'm a genius. (Um, I flat out deny I took all the credit.) Pick-up at end of day was just as quick, except there was time for a short Q&A about the car, a bit of small talk and some fun banter. My car is purring like a kitten. What more could I possibly want? Thanks Nick, Sean, and Smythe Volvo technicians! You guys rock! More

This is the sixth consecutive time I have purchased a Volvo from Smythe Volvo and from Kevin Flanagan. Each time the service has been excellent. It is always a pleasure doing business with Kevin. I had another excellent experience with the service team at Smythe Volvo as my car required significant engine repair and there was no issue with providing me a loaner vehicle for several days. Nick called at Smythe Volvo as my car required significant engine repair and there was no issue with providing me a loaner vehicle for several days. Nick called me mid-week to update me on the progress and to provide me an estimated completion day.
