Circumstances weren’t the greatest since my beige 2018 Malibu had just been towed in to Palm Coast Ford after abruptly conking out in 96 degree temps near the I-95 overpass on Palm Coast Parkway. Proximity and in addition there’d been a pleasant experience last spring during a promotional when I briefly checked out the Ford Escape with sales rep Pete Defalco. So on this sweltering day, the issue was whether to repair a suspected fuel pump module issue (yet again) or to upgrade with a new and reliable ride. Enter sales rep Chris Dunn who assessed and understood my situation, addressed my concerns, took me for a test drive in a black 2023 Ford Escape, and the rest is history. Or almost. An out of the blue thunderstorm with a wow of a lightning strike on a dealership palm tree gave us both pause. Yet Chris quickly got back to working out details of my trade-in with purchase, facilitating my shift in auto insurance coverage, and dispatching me to Kyle Hash in the biz office for an efficient electronic signature wrap up. Does it get any easier than this on what started as a really stressful afternoon? I don’t think so. I look forward to being part of the Palm Coast Ford family of buyers, enjoying free oil changes for life of my Escape’s ownership. Thank you, Chris Dunn. More
