Michael started his career at Bourne's in September of 2003. He started as the point sales person as Bourne's expanded to the current location at Belmont Street. In his current role he manages all operations of Bourne Enterprises, Inc. He is a graduate of Assumption College in Worcester, MA. He has completed the Dale Carnegie Sales Advantage Training. In his free time he enjoys playing many different sports and spending time on Cape Cod with his Family. He currently resides in Easton, with his wife and two children, where he was born and raised.

I was referred to Bourne's from a friend who has purchased from them in the past. I did not really know what to expect when I first went into the dealership. Upon arrival, I was not immediately accosted by sales people from every direction. The dealership was very busy and I asked for Mike Kelley who greeted me right away. Mr. Kelley put me in touch with his senior sales representative, David Pair. Mr. Pair was juggling at least 1 phone call and 2 customers and still took a moment to acknowledge us and apologized for the delay. Once we were able to meet with Mr. Pair, he listened to all of my concerns and allowed me to take my time looking over the cars that I was thinking of and made the process of taking a car for a test ride hassle free and easy. After taking a couple of cars for a ride, i narrowed the search to one vehicle, however the specific vehicle I wanted was unavailable for a test ride as it was being prepared for sale and not customer ready. I was told that I would receive a call when I could come and take the car for a test ride and on Monday early afternoon, I received a call, went and took the car for a test ride. The test ride revealed that the car needed an alignment but otherwise was perfect. I purchased the car, a 2006 BMW, my first BMW, and picked it up a couple of days later. The entire buying process was smooth, pressure free and the process of financing the car and purchasing the extended warranty, which I did purchase, was easy and the overall time that the entire process took to test ride and walk out the door with the car was no more that 90 minutes. I will definitely recommend Bourne's, David and Mike to my friends and family, in fact, I already have, and when the time comes for me to purchase another car, we will return to Bourne's again. We were in need of a good, quality used car and knew there were financial considerations. Searched the website for Bourne's Auto and found two cars. Replied by email and Michael said he wasn't available but that David Pair would assist us. We went to see the cars on Sunday and were happy that we were allowed to look around without being attacked by any sales people. We met with David, took the car for a test drive and fell in love! David was very knowledgeable about the car, the dealership and the services provided. We filled out the paperwork and met with the Finance Manager. He was also very easy to work with and we purchased the car and picked it up on Thursday. In less than a week, everything was taken care of and we had a newer car. I would highly recommend this dealership for their knowledge, great customer service and quality cars. A huge THANK YOU to David for excellent service! More

Everyone I dealt with was friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. They addressed a few very minor issues with the car I was purchasing and told me not to worry, they would take care of it. The initial experience of browsing the website for a vehicle that fit my criteria was easy to use and fairly in-depth. Upon visiting the dealership, I was greeted very quickly and brought out to view t vehicle that fit my criteria was easy to use and fairly in-depth. Upon visiting the dealership, I was greeted very quickly and brought out to view the cars I had called in earlier to see. I was allowed to test-drive them on my own, which was very helpful as I could really put them through their paces. As I was not ready to purchase that instant, I asked if I could bring the wife and kids back for a second test drive the following day, which was no problem. Upon returning, I added a 3rd vehicle I wanted to drive and was had no problem being obliged. The tough part was deciding which vehicle to choose. We collectively decided on a 2004 Hyundai Sonata that had 46K on the odometer. I had read the Carfax and subsequent service records attached and saw that a lot of parts had been recently replaced. I thought the mileage was great for a 9 year old car and now it had a lot of new parts to boot. This should have been a red flag to me but, as I am not a mechanic, I didn't put 2 and 2 together. Two weeks after after I purchased the car, I had my first problems. The alternator went and took the battery with it. I returned the vehicle to the dealer who promptly replaced both items along with new pulleys and a new belt, no charge to me. A few thousand miles later, I woke to a puddle of anti-freeze under my vehicle. After having surpassed the standard used car warranty based on the mileage I put on the car, I brought it to my own mechanic to see what was wrong. He immediately told me that the bad news was that the water pump was gone and it was standard procedure to change the timing belt when this was done concurrently. This was going to equal a minimum of $500. The worse news he gave, however, was that the engine was not original to this car. There were markings all over the engine that it was a replacment, coupled with the fact there was evidence the hood had been removed to pull the engine. Needless to say, I was not happy with the fact that I was sold a car with an advertised 46K miles on it, only to have a replacement engine with untold mileage and several major problems occurring within 5000 miles of purchasing it. I phoned the service center at Bournes and explained the situation as told by my mechanic. I was told to have it towed and they would verify what I stated. I then spoke with the general manager, Mike Kelley, regarding it not being the car I thought I was getting and the issues I had already been experiencing with it. He stated he would have the service look into it and not worry about it. They subsequently confirmed my mechanic's diagnosis and agreed about the replacement engine. I then sat down with Mike Kelley and discussed the options for this vehicle. As the Carfax did not report the engine had been replaced prior to Bournes obtaining it, it was new territory for them as well. After keenly listening to my concerns and understanding that issue needed to be addressed, a mutual agreement was reached. Mike had the problems repaired with no charge to me and subsequently offered an extended, in-depth engine warranty for my vehicle. As I truly enjoyed the vehicle and wanted to keep it (especially now with all the new parts), I felt a lot more secure with the extended warranty. What could have been a disaster of a used car purchase from a less trust-worthy and reputable dealer, was turned into a pleasant experience with Mike. I firmly believe and trust this weird issue with the replacement engine was not known by the dealer and they have taken responsibility to make it right. I would buy another vehicle from them again in a heart beat. I appreciate their honest approach to service and fair vehicle pricing. Thank you Mike and thank you Bourne's! More

My husband and I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Bournes and we could not be more pleased with the experience. We were there on a busy Sunday afternoon and even though there were many customers everyone still did a great job making sure everyone was taken care of. Mike Kelley in particular helped us with our car choices. He was attentive but not pushy and knowledgeable in every way. Scott made the financing part of the experience truly hassle free. Overall the car buying experience was great and we would recommend anyone who is in the market for a car - go here first! More

I have bought my last 3 cars from Bournes, and my husband just bought his car from them too. The quality of the vehicles are great, never had a problem with any of my cars. No one can beat their prices or their more than reasonable trade in values. They go above and beyond what is expected of them. They make the car buying process stress-free and enjoyable! The staff is very personable and down to earth unlike most car dealers! They are always very helpful if you have any questions before you purchase a car, during or even after your purchase! Their warranties are a great value, even though I haven't had to use mine once! I have recommended them to my family, friends and neighbors and everyone that has dealt with them has thanked me for recommending them. I would highly recommend this dealer and wouldn't go to any other dealer!! They truly are the best around! More

My husband and I just moved to the area from NYC and had to purchase two cars at once. Bourne's Auto had their always updated inventory online so we were able to pick out cars and know the prices before eve to purchase two cars at once. I had five cars picked out to test drive, all of which were ready to go when I arrived. There was absolutely no pressure, no sales pitch, just try out the car and see if you like it and they can answer any questions. Mike Kelly made sure everything was as easy as possible with getting the cars. He even picked up my husband at the train station in Providence and gave him a loaner car when we didn't have one yet and delivered my car when it was ready! We got two great quality cars there, are extremely happy with them and stayed within budget. I definitely recommend Bourne's Auto. More
