I have worked in the automotive business since 1998. I grew up in Odessa Tx and attended the University of North Texas. Here at Steve Landers I want to provide customers with a no-pressure buying experience. My goal is to help find a vehicle that suits their needs perfectly. Outside of work I love to spend time with my wife and children. We made the move here to NWA to be closer to my wife’s family. I purchased this vehicles for full asking price thinking they would have done a full inspection on the vehicle. I purchased a 3 year warranty and gap insurance, of which I was told very clearly that any ele they would have done a full inspection on the vehicle. I purchased a 3 year warranty and gap insurance, of which I was told very clearly that any electrical issues would be covered. What they failed to mention was that id have a 500 dollar deductible for any electrical issues. As I left the parking lot within minutes my sensors that detect cars to the left and right of my vehicle popped up on the dashboard as disabled. I called Toyota to schedule an appointment to find the issue with my brand new car. We scheduled an appointment a week out and, to my surprise, the sensors that showed to be disabled suddenly started working again. I was then told an appointment to check the issue was not necessary. Fast forward a year and a half later and the same issue appears. After speaking with them I was blamed for the issue. They do not check the electrical system unless there is an immediate sign that there is an issue. That is not a full inspection. The sales rep was rude and said I should have had it fixed within the 30 days of purchase in order to have it checked for free. This is after I payed full price and was flat out lied to about the warranty and gap insurance covering any electrical issues. These people are deceptive and are just looking to make money. I will continue to spread the word and make posts on every forum possible about the deception the people at this dealership convey. I will rent a billboard as well within the next few weeks near the dealership to warn others of the mistake I made in dealing with these people. I do not like being lied to, especially when I’ve asked direct questions about the coverage and was generous to pay full price. Warning to those looking to buy. DO NOT BUY FROM LANDERS TOYOTA. They will lie about doing a full inspection on the vehicle. They did not check the electrical and now I must pay for their deception. I will make posts every day to help spare others. More

Dealership was great. Sales person was new and definitely understand that. I feel like someone should have helped a little more instead of a “sink or swim” approach. It would have saved multiple questions and trips back up to the dealership to program or fix something that should have been done at time of sale. He’s learning and we definitely have to learn, so nothing against him at all. He was super sweet. Just frustrating spending that much for a vehicle and not everything was set up and had to figure a lot out by myself. More

I received top notch services while purchasing my vehicle. I was allowed an extended test drive which gave me an opportunity to really get a feel for the vehicle.
