First new car buying experience......Kieth Cox is great! I choose Walker Ford for two reasons. First, they has a solid family owned reputation as the best Ford dealership around. Secondly, my salesman, Kiet I choose Walker Ford for two reasons. First, they has a solid family owned reputation as the best Ford dealership around. Secondly, my salesman, Kieth Cox is an old church friend whom I know to be an exceptionally kind and caring person. Kieth and I also share a passion for Mustangs! First, Kieth and I sat down and carefully put together an order for what would become my perfect Mustang GT. Kieth took pains to get me the very best price available and then kept me posted with regular email updates, as my car progressed from a simple order sheet to a finished, gleaming, Royal Crimson beauty, parked in front of his office. Delivery was as smooth as the Mustang's ten speed automatic transmission. Before I knew it I was riding back home, in my dream car come true, as proud and happy a person can be. No Pressure Sale My wife and I went to Walker looking to replace our 2013 Mazda 3. We knew we wanted an SUV but weren’t set on any particular make or model. We parked My wife and I went to Walker looking to replace our 2013 Mazda 3. We knew we wanted an SUV but weren’t set on any particular make or model. We parked and Keith walked up asking if we needed help with anything. We explained where we were in the process and that we really just wanted to walk the lot a look. Keith pointed us in the direction of the Escapes, Edges, and Explorers. He asked what kind of budget we were working with and explained what we could find across models within our budget. When he finished, he said all the used models are unlocked and encouraged us to explore the models were were intersted in and come to him with any questions. Then Keith left us alone to do just that, which was something not everyone in sales does. It was so greatly appreciated though. My wife and I could freely and openly discuss the pros and cons of each vehicle we looked at without the pressure of the sales person hovering and overhearing budget discussions or if we didn’t like this or that. We looked for about 10-15 minutes when Keith checked in on us. We started talking about a particular Escape we liked and really got down to what we were looking for and why. We told him our ideal monthly payment, what we could put down, and what was owed on the Mazda. Keith asked if we’d like to have it appraised to get a better idea of the value and not once asked my keys. I gave them to him so his manager could do the appraisal and my keys were given back to me once it was completed. I’ve heard horror stories about dealers asking for keys right when you arrive and you come back to find your car different than you left it with significantly more miles on it and noticeably less gas. We went on a Sunday around noon when few buyers were on the lot. Keith had a scheduled meeting with a previous buyer to close their deal while he handled us. We never felt like he forgot about is or even that we waited an inordinate amount of time before Keith checked back in to give us a status update. We purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle. Keith took the time to go over what that means exactly when you buy a Ford certified pre-owned vehicle. The Escape we were interested in was the Titanium with all the bells and whistles. Keith was able to time things so that while he gave a test drive we were finishing things up with the sales manager. When Keith returned, we finished with the sales manager. We waited while the car was getting detailed and cleaned out the Mazda. They were kind enough to take reams of copy paper out of the box and give us the box to put all our stuff in. When the car was finished with the detailer, Keith spent 15-20 mintues going over and setting up all the Bluetooth features and other techy features in the Escape. When we initially looked at the car the rear life gate interior cover had a clip missing and was pulling away from the metal. Being a Sunday, no one was available to look at it. I came in on my lunch the next day to have it fixed. Keith talked to his manager because I had come in on my lunch from work and I was in and out in under 20 minutes! I couldn’t believe it! Before I left Keith told me to call him if we ever have any questions about the car. Our experience at Walker Ford was great with Keith! If you want a no pressure sales experience and someone willing to be there for questions down the road, Keith is your guy! More
