We had a problem with our 2023 Nissan Rogue that we had for barely 3 months. It was the second time I had the car there to service the same issue, no codes were presenting. They finally got Nissan Engine for barely 3 months. It was the second time I had the car there to service the same issue, no codes were presenting. They finally got Nissan Engineers involved and the problem was identified. We have only had it back less than 24 hours but so far so good! More

I own a 2012 Nissan Armada which I purchased at this dealership in 2014 and have always, only, had it serviced at this dealership. In October, 2020, the power lift gate became inoperable. The motor dealership in 2014 and have always, only, had it serviced at this dealership. In October, 2020, the power lift gate became inoperable. The motor could be heard working but some mechanism prevented the motor from actually lifting the liftgate. I brought it in for service, was told that the Power Assist motor needed to be replace and was charged $1325. In January, 2023, 2 years and three months later, the IDENTICAL thing happened. The motor on the power hatch was operating, but not actually lifting the hatch. I brought it in to Nissan again, who confirmed it was exactly the same thing again. and confirmed that a tech had "removed back panels and noticed that the rod was broken. Needs power assembly." and again, they attempted to charge me $1324. I brought it to another local mechanic because I began sensing that this dealership service department was becoming a rip-off. Here is what I discovered: 1. The rod was not broken. This was a lie I was told twice. 2. There was nothing wrong with the motor that required replacing. This was a lie. 3. The only thing wrong was that the hex bolt connecting the rod to the motor had become disengaged and SIMPLY NEEDED TO BE REBOLTED. It literally had just become undone and was laying in the panel. 4. A Nissan Service bulletin on this EXACT ISSUE had been issued for this EXACT MODEL about the problem with this bolt. 5. No technician ever removed the panel “to gain visual access”. This was a lie. 6. My local Auto Tech was able to resolve the issue for $94. 7. Even if they hadn't lied to rob me, the fact that they would not stand behind their work for 2 years is every telling. Kelly Nissan Service stole $1324 from me in October 2020 and attempted to steal another $1324 today under the pretense of this lie. All documentation is available upon request. They have great ratings here, and they may generally be pleasant, but they are a smarmy as they come. Dishonest and money hungry and screwing you over as they smile at you. Ever notice how once simple repair always turns in to an over-$1000 expense? Pity - I'll have to find another dealership to purchase my new Armada. More
