I came to Mccluskey with a trade in and not so great credit and i walked out with a brand new car (which i have NEVER had a brand new car) everyone I was in contact with made the transition smooth and m credit and i walked out with a brand new car (which i have NEVER had a brand new car) everyone I was in contact with made the transition smooth and made me feel like i was important. When you have not so good credit you tend to feel stupid knowing others know you made mistakes but everyone was truthful and helpful and as always i learned new things that i had no idea about. I would recommend Mccluskey to friends and family even those with blemished credit because i believe you are there to service the customer not to pick apart past mistakes you truly are there to help!!! Decided to retire my 1995 GMC Sierra with 228,000 miles on it. Recently moved 17 miles further from work from previous address. Took a Sunday morning drive down to McCluskey Chevrolet after seeing their commercial about a Free Lifetime Powertrain Protection on USED CARS, Say What? That got my attention!! My wife and I drove down there and met Salesman Jim Rooney, what a great guy!! He took the time to see what I was looking for, then started showing me around the lot there, then we drove down to another lot on Galbraith Rd. and found an awesome 2011 Chevy Equinox for a awesome price. Was there almost 8 hours looking at everything that interested me. Left that day with the "new" ride, awesome building, neat little lounge area, the blacktop parking lot sucked, but other than that, it was a great car buying experience. Unfortunately I am very disappointed by the after purchase customer service provided by McCluskey Chevrolet sales department. I recently purchased a demo 2013 Chevy Equinox with 7,000 miles on it. purchase customer service provided by McCluskey Chevrolet sales department. I recently purchased a demo 2013 Chevy Equinox with 7,000 miles on it. I was referred to McCluskey Chevy by Costco, and was unable to meet with the Costco representative because he (Donald Butts) kept cancelling appointments. I was tired of waiting for Mr. Butts, therefore I requested another Costco reprensentative and they referred Mr. Rooney (who by the way did not know anything about the Costco program). During the purchase everyone was very helpful, but unfortunately not after. When I purchased the vehicle there was no second key, I had to return to the dealership another day to retrieve it. Mr. Rooney informed me that it was ready for pick up, but when I arrived I had to wait for them to make it. The vehicle did not have any windshield washer fluid. Unfortunately we discovered this during the recent snow storm, when we were unable to see the road, nor clean the windshield. We pulled over and used water, which didn't last. We (my wife and kids) had to return home and switch vehicles. The oil change light went on. Apparently the oil was not changed before selling the vehicle to McCluskey Chevrolet customers. Unfortunately I'm not done yet. I was informed by my sales person that if I give him a good review on the survey, he would throw in a free wash and fill up the gas tank. I completed the survey and informed my salesperson of this, but he had to verify it with the office personnel. He informed me that he will contact me the Monday after Thanksgiving, but today is the 9th of December and I have not heard from him yet. I called the dealership and asked to speak to a manager, I was disconnected. I called back on the 2nd of December and left a message for the manager to call me with another sales person. Once again I have not heard from anyone at McCluskey Chevy. Needless to say I am very disapointed with the sales department at McCluskey Chevrolet. I purchased the vehicle as a gift for my wife and I'm very disappointed that I did. I was hoping for a great experience at McCluskey Chevrolet considering how much money was spent ($4 million) to renovate it and make it the nicest looking place to buy a vehicle, but I also read how customer service oriented they are. Update: After posting the below review of McCluskey Chevrolet I was contacted by their President who explained just how important Customer Satisfaction is to him and that he would be glad to be my prim Chevrolet I was contacted by their President who explained just how important Customer Satisfaction is to him and that he would be glad to be my primary contact going forward with any issues. It was pleasing to know that the leaders in that organization understand and acknowledge a dissatisfied customer. Since posting the below review, my issues have finally been resolved. I purchased a used 2011 truck from McCluskey Chevrolet in February 2013. It was the last day of the month so they insisted that I sign and they couriered the documents to my husband for his signature and I was promised that copies of all signed documents would be mailed to me. When I waited one week to inquire where the documents were I was told my salesperson no longer worked there and his manager would be taking care of our needs. I was then contacted over 3 weeks later that we needed to come in and sign again because the amounts on my original paperwork were incorrect. We obliged and resigned our paperwork to just be contacted later that afternoon to come and resign for the 3rd time due to another typo on our paperwork. After 3 (40 mile) trips to McCluskey Chevrolet we have owned this truck for 5 weeks, our temporary tag has been expired for over 7 days, and after dozens of emails/phone calls to the manager we have still yet to receive any copies of our paperwork or our license. A return phone call is not to much to ask when making a purchase. The quality of my vehicle is outstanding, but the Customer Service we have received has been disgraceful. More
