Can it really be this easy to buy a car? Unfortunately the 2013 Subaru Legacy I was driving was totaled by an uninsured motorist while my wife and I were driving home. I decided after some research that I wanted another Subaru and some online searching of what was available in southeast Wisconsin sent me to Sommer's in Mequon. It's not the first car I've purchased from the dealership. Armed with stock numbers of several vehicles I wanted to evaluate, I met Jim Naus. Friendly, business oriented, down to earth, knowledgeable, and professional. In no time we were taking a test drive and I'd decided on what I wished to purchase. The rest of the process went as smoothly as I could have wished. Vehicle price was very competitive, financing didn't take very long and Jim kept me involved and informed every step of the way. No pressure, no need to get cranky, the process was smooth from beginning to end. My suspicion is that you're not going to find a better inventory OR a better dealership in the Milwaukee area. And for the record? I'm not a "roll over and play dead" customer; I have expectations about how a business transaction should take place. Sommer's manages to meet or exceed those expectations on a consistent basis. More

Originally chose Sommer's due to the Costco Auto Program We originally chose to test drive and get quotes from Sommer's due to the lower prices through Costco's Auto Program. We had priced our intended vehi We originally chose to test drive and get quotes from Sommer's due to the lower prices through Costco's Auto Program. We had priced our intended vehicle at other dealerships and chose to stop in and test drive to determine if we were sure and formally decide on a model. We definitely did our research and felt going in that we knew most specs, options, and accessories. The best part of working with Jim was that he listened to what we wanted and was respectful of our knowledge from our research and let us take our time to investigate. He added info when needed, but otherwise, he showed us exactly the two models we were interested in and let us investigate for ourselves. There was ZERO pressure. He was very accommodating of the time we took to examine every feature, practice parking, load and unload the car seat (and baby) repeatedly. (We spent a LOT of time with Jim). We had no intention of purchasing a vehicle that day, however the price we settled on was reasonable and it was a really nice vehicle. Overall, the experience was a good one across the board. The various individuals we worked with throughout the process were courteous. When we came to pick up our vehicle, Jim made it a great experience. We were taught some additional features and were even welcomed to our new vehicle with a fun sign congratulating us. This was a small gesture--but meant a lot to us. We still have that sign in the car. We plan to work with Jim and Sommer's again when we replace the next vehicle. Maybe an Outback this time. More
