I received excellent service in both used car sales, and service. I purchased the vehicle (a used Ford Focus) in late November 2012. I was very impressed with the excellent service given by Grant Dewar in used car sales, and Patti Kehoe in the business office. I liked the friendly "low pressure" atmosphere of the dealership, and I left feeling very satisfied with my purchase. Everyone went out of their way to make it a very pleasant experience!

In January 2013, I returned to the dealership with a problem with the rear window defroster. Daralyn Stene made all the arrangements for the service at a nearby Ford dealership, and arranged a loaner car for me. She provided excellent, efficient service!

At this time, I also met Colin Heisler, Used Vehicle Sales Manager, because of the problem with the back window. Because I was leaving to go home to Ontario with the car, he made special arrangements to have the window delivered and installed within 2 days. Daralyn Stene was also involved with this service. Not only was the window expertly installed, the dealership covered the cost! Thank you!!!

Overall, you made this customer form Ontario very happy! I strongly recommend your dealership, and would definitely purchase a vehicle from you again.

I returned to Ontario 3 days after the January service, and the car ran very well! When my local garage did the safety check to switch to Ontario plates, they were very impressed with the car! Needless to say, nothing was required to pass the Ontario safety, because the car had been so well prepared by Westgate Chev.

I apologize for being so late with this report, but I ran into some unexpected personal health issues after I returned home. All is well, now.

A GM Certified vehicle was what I was looking for after viewing some other vehicles at some less reputable outlets (you know, Jim Bob's Fine Euro imports and such). Even some other delaerships left a bad taste in my mouth. Not so with The Chevy Farm! Friendly form teh start, answered all my questions and sent me home with the car I wanted at the price I needed.

Now, less than a week later dashborad lights starting coming on like Christmas' past... not a problem at all, despite not being covered under the powertrain, Grant got me an appointment, my car was i,n a ride to and from work provided, problems diagnosed and fixed and my car returned at the end of the day. No carge I was told... this is part of our commitment to customer service. Nice!

Well, a week after this the battery melted down... nothing that Westgate could have done, batteries sometimes die. I was still a little pissed though, as I hadn't even had hte car for two weeks and tweeted my feelings at the dealership.... to my surprse they called me the next day, listened to the issues I had and again, despite not being covered by the warranty, wrote me a cheque for the replacement and labour on the new battery I had installed. Once again, "we take care of our customers"!

Will I buy anyother vehicle from these guys, yes I will! Would I recommend them? xxxx yes! The legend of the Chevy Farm..... everything you've heard and more! :)

I highly recommend this business " Westgate Chevrolet " as a very good place to buy your car.
I just purchased a 2007 Escalade, my experience with this business started with Mr. Fred Pawlenchuk "Sales”, the best sales person you can ever find, its not easy to find a sales person who cares about you and doing his best to give you a the best service.
Fred has excellent communication skills with customers, finally we came to a deal and I got my Escalade.

Since I got my Escalade I was hearing a noise from the front suspension, I took it back to the dealership service and they found that my suspension need to be replaced and they gave me a quote for over $1900 to fix this.

I was un happy and I went back to the used car offices and asked for the manager, they forward me to Mr. Colin Heisler, I was expecting to have really bad argument and I was sure that I will need to fight for this, because I shouldn't be paying over $1900 just after few days of purchasing the car.
After representing my self to Mr. Colin and telling him my story, I was extremely surprised the way he act and respond to me.
He told me “No way you are paying for this, I will take care of this, give until tomorrow and I will solve this issue”

This is what really happened, he contacts me in the following day as he promised and told me that they ordered the parts for me and I will pay nothing.
I am very happy and satisfy and I extremely recommend this business.
I don’t think you will get better than this service. I am planning to buy a second car for my wife and for sure my next car will be only from this place.

I will take this opportunity to thank Fred and Colin for there service and care.

Delt with them via Email because I live in Saskatchewan. Answered all my questions promptly. Reduced the price of the vehicle $2000. Picked me up at the Airport and brought me to the dealership. Filled the gas tank instead of the regular 1/2 tank for the drive back to Saskatoon.

All the people I dealt with were very friendly and nice. I am not convinced that the price I paid for the Chev Equinox was as low as WestGate could go, but we do like the vehicle very much. I enjoyed the price debate with the sales people very much.

I purchased a used 2008 GMC pick up truck on April 5/12. It was absolutly the best buying experiance I have every had barr none
111. Right from my first call to Colin inquiring looking for a used truck to him arranging to have my second trade picked up and appraised with the truck I was driving. He just made it happen effortless for me. The deal was right the first time, and Fred was so profressional, and the best salesperson (now friend) I have ever met. The deal was good, and then just got better with them wanting to inspect the truck, replace the windsheild, offer 3 month onstar, 3 month free sirus radio, balance of factory warranty, used warranty, helping to transfer my personal items over, to filling the fuel tank with gas. I went home in shock and disblief how well I felt about buy a used vehicle, that I cannot stop telling every one around me about Westgate Chev, Colin and Fred.

Thank you all for your wonderful treatment, and there is no other place to ever consider future purchases. The length of time some of these employees have worked for Westgate, screams a strong stable committed company. Great job.

I have dealt with Gary Ball before on the Lease of a Blazer. I approached him because I know him and often visit with him when I visit the Dealership. When we decided to purchase a new Orlando he said he would handle it and did in an efficient manner and with attention too all the necessary details.

When the vehicle arrived at the Dealership he arranged the Delivery for us and due too the fact that he was leaving the day of the Delivery he turned the actual delivery and turnover too Stephen Kennedy. We had never met Stephen however we were very pleased with the thoroughness and detail provided on the orientation process! Stephen was most courteous and attentive too all our questions and concerns.

The overall experience in acquiring this vehicle was in keeping with our many previous experiences in purchasing and servicing vehicles from this Dealership. I would not consider dealing elsewhere!

The staff at Westgate, from the owner Gord Gent down the line and including Earl Wong, Patti Kehoe, Colin Heisler, Gary Ball and Stephen Kennedy as well as others whose names I cannot remember, are second too none!! They recognize their loyal customers and treat us like family.
