First-time Buyer I decided I wanted to make my first car purchase over six months ago. I visited many major dealerships in the area and was bait and switched and just I decided I wanted to make my first car purchase over six months ago. I visited many major dealerships in the area and was bait and switched and just overall treated pretty immaturely. It didn't help that I was entirely new to the whole car-buying process. It was a relief to visit Bourne's. I explained I was a first-time buyer, and John sat down with me and explained to me in detail typical loan amounts and cars for first-time buyers. I was given the chance to test drive multiple cars within my budget with no pressure throughout the whole process. Carlos also sat down with me and helped me decide on the right loan amount and term, and explained that to me in a way I could understand despite my lack of experience. I ended up purchasing a completely different car than I expected - which I love - and will be picking up on Monday. All in all it was a super easy experience, I was treated with respect, and I would absolutely recommend this dealership and would come back for future purchases. Thank you! More

I saw several that I liked on the internet, called Jake and went over what my wife wanted for options and what was in inventory at that time.Two weeks later the right car for her came in.Jake looked the car over knowing she was particular on condition. He called us back,we went the next day and I will say it was everything he said it was..Drove it and bought that day.Everyone on the Bourne Team was great!! They even delivered to us in Plymouth. Bad experience corrected by great customer service I purchased my first car from Bourne and it was not what I expected. There were a few hiccups along the way but I am glad to say they took the time an I purchased my first car from Bourne and it was not what I expected. There were a few hiccups along the way but I am glad to say they took the time and went the extra mile to make the situation right and for this I am grateful. I went to them for their wide selection of vehicles and great pricing and after all the "speed bumps", I have the car I was looking for. More

They stood behind their product I purchased a car from them back in November of 2012 , it ran OK until July 2013, then I had problems w/ it. after being fixed on the extended warran I purchased a car from them back in November of 2012 , it ran OK until July 2013, then I had problems w/ it. after being fixed on the extended warranty ( Those are lifesavers!!!) , it ran OK until January 2013. The same problem came back. I took it back to Bourne and while they had it I did some research on the internet. Little did I know , or Bourne for that matter, that this car make & model should have had a recall. Since the replacement unit was a rebuilt from the manufacture, they sent it back to one of their dealers to fix it under it's warranty. Bourne did a great job dealing with the manufacture's dealer! When they gave it back to Bourne it wasn't running properly, Bourne sent it back & insisted it got taken care of. The M. D. ended up replacing the unit again because the one they put in failed ! Once I got the car back ( 2+ months later) I didn't want this headache of a car any more , Bourne took it back as a trade in & got me into a 2012 Rav4 , which is more reliable , gets better gas millage and I don't have to replace major parts that fail at an awful rate. Kudos to Mike Clark for dealing w/ the M.Dealer and all the headaches that went w/ the old car. Kudos to Shawn Weir & Carlos Machado for getting me out of a bad car and into something much more reliable. And thanks to God that I didn't wind up stuck with a car sitting in my driveway that won't run & I'm stuck making payments like some people I read about online. Manufactures take note: if you make a product and it has issues, stand behind it ! I will never buy another one of those again & everyone I told my story to will think twice. Bourne didn't have to take my car back as a trade in, but they did. If your looking for a good used car, check them out ! I did well by them & I think you will too. More

The dealership was very easy to deal with. I hate the price haggling part of car buying and, since the prices are set, there's none of that so it made for an enjoyable experience. Great experience. Very simple and straightforward. They don't haggle on price, which can be good or bad. In my case it was fine as the price for the car, based on my research, was already below the KBB val don't haggle on price, which can be good or bad. John was very easy to work with and answered my questions quickly and competently. Carlos was very easy to work with as well. Overall a great experience. Assuming they continue to offer great prices, I will definitely look here for any future used car purchases. More

From step one Brian Ponte was sincere and honest with me regarding my expectations when looking to purchase a vehicle. Where most dealers I had been to pushed numerous "deals" on me, Brian took my budget, a regarding my expectations when looking to purchase a vehicle. Where most dealers I had been to pushed numerous "deals" on me, Brian took my budget, and my parameters, and advised me as to what made best sense for me personally. Brian gave me real-life experiences of why certain options would or wouldn't benefit me in the long run. I gained an enormous amount of respect and appreciation for the way Brian handled my experience, and his candidness. I truly believed he was there to help me make the right decision. I didn't deal with Carlos for too long, but throughout the entire process he was extremely professional and up front in answering all of my questions, even if the answers weren't exactly what I wanted to hear. This also garnered a huge amount of respect from me in how he handled our business. Carlos took my questions and concerns and formulated the best payment options of how to afford my new vehicle. Again, I never felt pressured to commit to anything with Carlos, but was able to take the information he gave and make the best decision for me. All in all, I would highly recommend Bourne's Auto Center, and specifically Brian Ponte and Carlos Machado. They respect the consumer, and are honest when explaining all the different options. They never pressured me to make a decision, and throughout the entire process I felt they truly wanted me to choose what made the most sense for my long term success. More
