My Review of Okotoks Honda:
We had a very positive experience right from the moment we pulled into the Okotoks Honda. Everyone we came into contact with was friendly and very knowledgeable. I think the thing that stands out the most for me is how forth right Honda is with their information. Within just a few minutes I had all of the knowledge that I needed, and felt at ease.
We had dealt with other dealerships that make the process of buying a vehicle extremely frustrating and confusing. I really liked how simple their models to each vehicle are explained, you can chose A, B or C and these are the prices. Very clear!!
The finance staff were great and made our life so easy with having our registration done before we arrived to pick our new odysessy up. When you have a busy family you don't have time to deal with the little things, I appreciated the help!
When we picked up the odysessy we were treated with such care and had a wonderful instruction of our new vehicle. I left feeling very good about knowing how the vans features worked.
Such a nice experience, so many places that we could have chosen to buy from and I feel very confident in the Okotoks Honda for all of our future services and purchases.
Definetly recommended!! Thanks to Asif, Alif,Kerry and Darren.

My Review of Okotoks Honda:
Great experience here! Had issues with my vehicle based on a 'Service Bulletin' that Honda Canada did not want to deal with. After speaking to the guys at Okotoks Honda and explaining the issue, they worked to get Honda Canada's assistance to solve the issue! Once the first issue was resolved (control arm issue) I found that my tires had been badly worn out due to the first issue! Speaking with Okotoks Honda, they assisted me in getting a couple tires on warranty and thus, I am now a happy driver! Glad that there are honest people out there who are not out just to get your money. Do not pass these guys up! You will not be disappointed dealing with Okotoks Honda.

I love the feeling of family and the size of the dealership. It seems like everytime I'm there everyone wants to help me. I just need some more info on aftermarket parts like rims and lights for my civic. I would recommend this dealership to anybody.

My Review of Okotoks Honda:
I first started using this dealership in May of 2002 when we bought a brand new Odyssey when they were still in High River. They were hands down the best for price and customer service so we chose to buy there even though we were living in the far North West of Calgary. We continued to go there for all our servicing. When I had an unfortunate accident in 2007 with that beautiful Odyssey, that I quite frankly credit with saving my life, I purchase a 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid. They took such good care of me, getting me into something that I loved and being sensitive about the accident that I had endured. Of course, by this time, many of the staff new me well and genuinely cared that I was alright. A few more twists and turns in life later, after they had moved to the new Okotoks location, I was ready to be in a mini-van again. Of course, my Civic now had almost 317,000 km on it thanks to living in the country and Okotoks Honda's very attentive care with it. Once again, I was treated with care, respect, and enthusiasm. And given a very fair price on my new purchase. I actually look forward to my service appointments, when I get to see the familiar faces again. And even when there is extra stuff to take care of that is going to hit the pocketbook a little harder (and they reward loyalty well here too) the news is delivered by the ever charming Duane Soondarsingh which takes the bite out of it. And you know that he only does it when it is really necessary ;-P I've been in the other dealerships in the city for little things here and there and there is no comparison. I would never willingly go anywhere else.

My Review of Okotoks Honda:
There's a great difference between a dealership who cares for their sales, and who cares for their customers. I have yet to visit a dealership that can even come close to competing with Okotoks Honda for their customer service. First and foremost, their knowledge of vehicles, structure, features, is unbelievable. Any questions you may ever have, the answer is one phone call away with someone who would love to assist you. These guys go above and beyond for every customer's satisfaction, and they aim high for those expectations.
The Sales department is extremely accomodating. They won't just ask you what you're looking for today, to them, it doesn't matter if you're looking or not; you're a guest in their home, and they will treat you with the highest level of respect. The atmosphere is light, and quite comforting. Each staff memeber which walks by will smile, ask you if you need any assistance, coffee, test drive, whatever your heart desires. I'm sure if you said you wanted Starbucks, someone will get in their car and bring you one. The interaction with the Sales department was also very simple. No loopsholes, or small print in between the lines. They're quite honest with what they can offer, and even THEN ... you'll still be able to get exactly what suits you.
By the time you're done picking your car, and come back for a test drive, the Finance department will already have all of your necessary paperwork and questions handy. No time wasted. The process is smooth and painless, you won't need to call them for udpates, they will call you. The window of communication remains open at all times, and the confidentiality sticks. That is the most important thing.
When delivery day arrives, they make you feel like a kid on Christmas morning. They take photos, welcome you with open arms, and they still never stop asking if there is ANYTHING at all they can assist with. Finance walks you through every bitty detail of your contract, additional packages, rewards program (you have GOT to get involved in that, what a convenient program!), etc. Your Sales Rep will show you each and every feature in your car, even every button. Finally, when you actually drive your dream car, you don't end up swerving all over the highway trying to figure out how to adjust your heat or steering wheel.
I must say, it warms my heart to have made friends with the employees at Okotoks Honda, and I highly recommend you do the same. These people will be there for you day in, and day out. Purchase or no purchase, car or no car. They will be happy just to know they assisted someone today, and made a friend. Now that's what how you run a business. Great job guys, I couldn't thank you enough for all of the wonderful things you have done for me; much appreciated.

Great service from the salesman. Alif picked me up from my home and found a way to make the car I want fit into my monthly budget. Both he and Asif we respectful of my limits while applying no pressure. Upon delivery, all of the features of the car were thoroughly explained by Alif. All around good feeling with the entire transaction. I look forward to dealing with Alif in the future at Okotocs Honda.

My Review of Okotoks Honda:
My 2009 Honda Pilot Touring broke down on December 3rd, 2011. Warning lights started flashing, the radio turned off, the GPS turned off, and I started to lose power. I pulled into a school parking lot and tried to back into a parking stall in case I needed a tow. Reverse didn't work at all. I couldn't see any issues under the hood, but I'm no mechanic. I called AMA and got the Pilot towed to Okotoks Honda, just south of Calgary. I fired off a quick e-mail to Duane, the Service Manager at Okotoks Honda, telling him what was going on and giving him the heads-up that the Pilot was on its way. Duane didn't know me; I got his e-mail address off the Okotoks Honda web site. He e-mailed me back right away and told me they would look at it as soon as it arrived. And this was a Saturday, no less! Later that afternoon, I got a call from Duane and he told me that there had been a small engine fire in the area between the ignition coil and first spark plug. He said that he had to report it to Honda Canada, and would let me know what was going to happen on Monday. I should note that the Pilot has 65,000km on it and is 35 months old. Just out of warranty, of course!

During the week of December 5-9, I was in contact with Duane regularly. He arranged a courtesy car for me, a Honda Civic. In the meantime, the service technicians took photos, sent diagnostic reports to Honda Canada, and explained the situation to them. Time dragged on and the following week, December 12-16, was more of the same. Honda Canada was taking a long time to investigate the situation and ensure that this wasn't a problem that could affect other Pilots. Duane did warn me that if Honda Canada did a full scale investigation and if the parts weren't readily available, I could be without my Pilot for a couple of months.

Ultimately, Honda Canada came to the conclusion that the engine fire was NOT caused by anything internal, and there must have been an external factor that caused the fire. I was disappointed with the decision given the absence of proof either way. Honda Canada had no evidence of any external cause, but they decided that since they couldn't specifically identify an internal cause, it must have been caused by external factors. So I ended up calling my auto insurance company, who agreed to cover the damage as a comprehensive claim. They even waived my deductible. As an added bonus, when I picked up my Pilot, I barely recognized the inside of it, as Duane had it detailed for me no charge!

Okotoks Honda, and specifically Asif Premji and Duane Soondarsingh, were fantastic through this whole ordeal. Anytime you are dealing with an unusual event (especially involving a fire!) it can be disconcerting. They held my hand (figuratively) and made me feel better about the situation. Duane and Asif genuinely care about their customers, and it shows. As Asif told me, when you have customers like me who have bought vehicles from Okotoks Honda, referred friends who have purchased new vehicles from Okotoks Honda, and have my service done at Okotoks Honda, you HAVE to work to keep these customers satisfied. Although I still have reservations with Honda Canada's treatment of my situation, these reservations do not extend to Okotoks Honda.

Not only did Asif keep his price consistent - he beat all the other dealerships in Calgary! Above and beyond only begins to describe the service of the vehicle AFTER the purchase was completed. My car is always cleaner when it comes back from an oil change. :) :) :) :) :) Five happy faces for Asif = as promised, he delivered.

The quality of Honda is top notch.
The 2012 Pilot that I recently purchased is a dream vehicle.
Knowing a lot about Car mechanics, this is truly a wonderful experience.
