Literally said us "you are not doing us a favour by buying from us" .we regret ever stopping by and making SABBIR hit our credit just to make a mess out of it. Jo if you see this find a better finance team/guy . Sabbir you're a big shame for your customer service ,your lies and tone of voice towards new clients. In early spring I had originally planned to purchase a new 2024 Honda HR-V at a north Winnipeg Honda dealership. I was told there might be a wait of two or three months before it arrived; not a problem, I'm patient and can wait. Then four months passed, then five, and still no one could provide any information about my new vehicle, where it was or when it would appear. In late August received a text informing me that my HR-V had actually arrived three weeks earlier, but was forgotten about and sat forlornly on the lot until a staff member noticed it and contacted me. Unfortunately, it had been extensively damaged by a hailstorm, with its glass cracked and the white paint surfaces dimpled like a golf ball. Had they informed me when the car had arrived, I would have purchased it then and the poor vehicle would have been safe in my driveway. I'm very disappointed by the slip-shod behavior of this Honda dealership. Due to the hail damage to the bodywork, the car is no longer factory fresh and cant really be considered a new car. I'm not willing to pay for that, so.... An internet searched uncovered a used 2020 Honda HR-V in my desired spec at St. James Volkswagen. With only 29000 km on a three year old car it was barely broken in, and it also came with Michelin winter tires and Thule roof bars to hold a kayak or canoe. Salesperson Mariana provided a thorough walk-through and test-drive. She's cool and clever and was a font of useful information. After the four-square, we were introduced to finance guy Noah, who satisfactorily ran the numbers. During a fun game of batting the figures back and forth, we settled on an out-the-door price that was acceptably fair market value. The entire process was quick and efficient, we were treated well and our time, money and effort were respected. Everything was ready exactly when promised. During the delivery prep, I asked if the summer tires could be removed and the winter tires installed, which the tech wizards did for no additional charge. They even removed the Thule bars (I'll use them when I need to) and stowed them in the hatch, as well as swapping out the summer floor mats for the factory winter mats that also came with the car. The previous owner was meticulous, and I definitely bought a creampuff from Mariana and Noah. When we picked the car up from the service area, the HR-V had been fully cleaned and polished inside and out, all shined up like a new penny. Tech James joined us and showed us how the various features worked, including lights, stereo and HVAC. A very friendly fellow who really knew his stuff! In summation, I am extremely pleased and impressed with the service I received from everyone at St. James Volkswagen. VeeDub was like dealing with Top Gun compared to the bumbling half-wits over at Honda, and I've been happily referring new and used vehicle shoppers to them ever since. They're absolute professionals, and it shows! More

They do not answer their phone, they take weeks to call you back - if you get a call back... they book appointments on line and then don't honour them when you get there. They have people calling you to harass you to get your oil change done, but if you actually need to have an intelligent conversation with someone or ask a question or need someone to look into something, this is not the place to go. I will never go back here again. Worst car experience of my life. More
Hosed by the service department! Made an appointment to get my 2008 vw bug serviced. No problem. Drove 3 hours to get to the Dealership. Upon arrival told Monty that my convertible top would not retract and the ac was not working. Was told that it would cost me $170 for diagnostic on the lid and $242 for diagnostic on ac. Took 5 min. To fix lid. ( a sticky switch) oh checked hydraulic fluid level. $170!!! Come on. Onto the AC where once again diagnostic check was included with the recharging of coolant plus labour ended up being $340 plus $60 for coolant.(princess Auto had same stuff on sale for $30.) great markup. Didn’t use any other shop material. Another kick in the groin was the 14% shop material charge on the final bill as standard operating charge. Total bill $782. My dentist bill was not that high! Ripped off! Upon getting home and reviewing the bill and letting frustration sink in decided to contact service manager Ron for an explanation. It took over a week and a half and daily phone call and leaving messages for Ron to contact me, we finally hooked up. Well, condescending conversation followed. “That’s the going rate, every dealership charges this amount , spoke to the technician and he did all these checks, BS I talked to tech and he told me exactly what he did with the lid. etc. etc. ok I will give you $80 refund on your bill. Wo! Made me feel like he was doing me a favour! Will not go back there for anymore work! Dealership taking advantage of people! More
