Because max profits matter with this dealer, not repeat customers. After trying to get 22k min. for a 46,000 mile, mint condition Jeep, but were told it won't sell due to RHD, shown false black book values, no one buys purple vehicles, it will have to go to auction, we'll be lucky to sell it for $23,000 maybe $24,000. Service will charge us $2,000 to condition it and on and on (It needed nothing done). We settled for 20K and that was like pulling teeth, Brad started at 17K max. They turned around and posted it for sale for $30,500 (but advertised as discounted by $2,000 from $32,500. It didn't cost that when we bought it new in 2017!) LOL. They sold it in a week. Good for them. I understand a dealer making about 4K on a deal, but flat out lying to customers to make 10K on a 20K trade in!? And dealers wonder why people aren't buying vehicles anymore and lots are full. Maybe people are tired of being lied to and manipulated? Yes, it is my fault for not walking out...I should have walked when we first entered and they told us the truck we're looking at is $1,000.00 more than they are advertising online. Of course once shown the online price, it's corrected. Same thing happened to us with this dealer before, but we tried to give them another chance. Voiced our concerns to customer service, they simply didn't care and had our salesperson call us. The issues had nothing to do with him. Why isn't management contacting me? Customer service emailed me after making a negative google review stating they would, but it never happened. They know they burned us on trade-in, we'll just never do business here again. The sad thing is they may have made a couple thousand more by being deceptive, but it will cost them much more in lost sales referrals we would have sent them. We just hope others reading this will consider another dealership with more honest sales practices. More

On Friday, January 5th, 2024, I dropped off my car promptly at 8:45 am and provided a list of specific codes that needed troubleshooting. These codes were critical for potential mechanical failures and, more importantly, my safety. Despite clearly communicating that the listed codes were not currently active, I was informed later that day that only the code for the engine oil pressure sensor was addressed. I explicitly emphasized the importance of troubleshooting all the codes I provided. Nevertheless, when I picked up my car on Monday, January 8th, the check engine light reappeared within five minutes of driving, for yet again another major engine issue. Adding to the frustration, when I initially dropped off the car, I was informed that no loaner would be provided. Consequently, I had to personally pay out of pocket for a rental from the 5th to the 8th. Being a disabled vet, I rely heavily on my vehicle for medical appointments and work. Unfortunately, when I called the dealership back about the check engine light, I was told I would not be able to get a loaner for 2 weeks. What's most concerning is that, after reviewing their paperwork, it became evident that they never attempted to troubleshoot the original codes, jeopardizing not only my car's longevity but also my personal safety. Despite leaving voicemails, I've been unable to reach the service manager and my family members attempts to, adding to the frustration. The lack of responsiveness from the dealership, coupled with the inconvenience and safety risks I've faced, makes it challenging to recommend Spartanburg dodge to others. As a disabled vet, I expected better customer service and a more thorough approach to addressing my concerns. This entire experience has left me not only dissatisfied but also questioning the integrity of their service. More

The service department is the most rude, condescending bunch of people I have ever dealt with. After leaving a message for the dealership, and the service department, I was able to get them on the phone t bunch of people I have ever dealt with. After trying to express my displeasure with this policy, I was being talked over and interrupted, I remarked, : please don't talk over me, which I was hung up on. Stay away from their service department, cross threaded my elderly grandparents tires and marked off on all several service reports after as they were good. I was cussed at, told they didn't kill my grandparents (which if they kept driving it with those bolts, they could have) so it wasn't their problem called entitled and arrogant by the service manager for asking questions about how their inspections actually work after being told I was going to be charged almost 500$, as they'd signed off on the tires the two oil changes after the rotation. This was most unprofessional and disrespectful event I've ever dealt with in my adult life. They dropped the car without fixing the problem, the service manager told me never to come back. I get home and ruined a tire iron getting one bolt off because it was cross threaded the opposite in another direction and slag all over the nut where it was cross threaded and extremely over tightened just to be a smart @$$. The nuts have new flat spots from being so over tightened. This job took me an hour in my driveway and 30$ in parts. Avoid the disrespect, belittlement, and overpaying. Do it yourself or go elsewhere. More
