I visited this dealership today for extended warranty service on my 2011 Chevrolet Impala. I made the appointment just yesterday. My problem was some common error messsages that just recently appeared on service on my 2011 Chevrolet Impala. I made the appointment just yesterday. My problem was some common error messsages that just recently appeared on the dash instrument display as well as the check engine symbol. For the record the messages were"reduced engine power", and "service the stabiltrac", as well as "service the traction control", and the check engine symbol. I had previously phoned GM customer service ( 1-800-263-3777) and told them my problem. GM Customer Service was very understanding and informed me that my warranty was extended to 10 years and there would be no charge for the repair of this problem. Sherwood Chev repaired my problem by replacing the accelerator pedal assembly. Sherwood Chev also paid for my ride home, and later a ride back to the dealership to pick up my repaired vehicle,( very much appreciated). My repair bill for the total job was $0.00, they did not even charge for doing the diagnostic test. GM customer service said I may have to pay for the diagnostic. Needless to say I am very happy with the service I received today at Sherwood Chev, and would highly recommend taking your vehicle to this GM dealership. More

Got a Silverado 2021 Duramax, 6 month old, noticed a squicking noise on the steering wheel, they replaced part, still doing the same thing. Brought it back for second time, they said it is normal. I would have to ask if they can let me drive another new unit and see if there's also a squicking noise in steering wheel when turning left or right, then I can tell that's normal for that specific brand and model. Unfortunately I drove different brands and models but none of them having a squicking noise like the Silverado has. More

Sales department is awesome. Service does not contact you with updates or let you know what's going on and takes many calls to get a hold of. And the communication between departments is frustrating. Bad experience I wouldn't buy a peddle bike from sherwood. My engine lights been on monthly since I bought my 2016 Malibu LT 2 years ago. Had oil changes done and th I wouldn't buy a peddle bike from sherwood. My engine lights been on monthly since I bought my 2016 Malibu LT 2 years ago. Had oil changes done and the very same day had drove 10 km and my low pressure oil light comes on, Sherwood blamed it on a faulty filter. My gears were slipping 2 months ago, brought it in a seal was leaking on my oil accumulator pump, apparently GM took this out of the warranty 2 years ago so not only did I have to fork out a 720.00 bill I had to pay for the shipping from the states for the parts. This week my car wouldn't start had it towed Sherwood called me , and they first had to replace the battery (280.00) which was apparently completely shot, plus installation cost and a diagnostic test for my engine light, another 400.00 bill. The real problem with the car was my fuel injectors and seals are leaking gas, guess where the parts are coming from USA and they're currently on strike. Never again will I buy a vehicle from Sherwood. More

Only for the staffs and their manager to tell me they have to continue to test what the problem is. After a scan, calling me to tell me my car was perfectly ok. Just to get there and find out the car still had the same issues and my money was gone. Terrible and disheartening experience for a company of such reputation. I will never recommend this place to anybody.... EVERYTHING THERE IS JUST TRIAL AND ERRORS. More
