Narrating a true story of what my son went through to buy a car. I was just an old dad observer. But was with him through it all. One always wears armor, with a helmet and a huge helping of "I don't trust car salespeople" feelings. We contacted a few dealers and tried to get a final price on the Honda Civic we were looking for. The mysteries and stories many weaved to give us a price would beat Alfred Hitchcock stories. They would also add pieces of horror like Stephen king. Then when you go to those dealers, the quoted price shifts shape like a blob of watery jello. And they exclaim that the quoted price was IF the Moon is in the seventh house and Jupiter aligns with mars (Moody Blues). They then add mysterious objects, which only a Jedi Knight can sense, and the price balloons further. And also, they cried, that If they don't charge us for the plastic cargo tray, they would go broke. Then, like a knight in shining armor, came Jose with Serra Honda O'Fallon! He was professional, quoted us prices that he stood by, and the prices were that of a car, not the rocket to Jupiter. In fact, he quoted us a price that blew up competitor prices like a humongous nuclear bomb.and all of this over the phone! Once at the dealership, the staff was friendly, professional, and courteous. No mysterious trips by them to the equally mysterious exalted grand Poobah manager to see if the quoted price was blessed or not. The process was surprisingly straightforward and we were in possession of a new car at a price below what we had hoped for and all within half an hour. We were assisted by an amazing lady who works with Jose, and her name is Jill. She patiently walked us through the features, helped setup airplay, and cheerfully asked if there was anything more she could help with. Proves that even after a sale, we are not treated like forgotten moldy food item lost in a refrigerator! To be honest, I was worn out just getting prepared for a battle, and it was anticlimactic in that my armor and helmet were not needed. Bummer. Please look for an eBay ad for an Armor and helmet. A huge thanks to Jose, Jill and Serra. Amazing dealership and amazing service. Highly recommend them, and if I could give them a medal, I would, Only will charge them for the medal paint protection package - movie rights to this novel available for purchase from the author! You may have to pay the author destination charges and for a plastic tray. Negotiable of course.. More

I explained to Kreg that I wanted a buyer of my sedan, and wished to purchase a SUV. Kreg set up an appointment for the next morning. Shortly after we began talking, I indicated to Kreg that I have never really enjoyed the car buying experience, and that I would rather go to the dentist. Before I knew it, I was test driving the vehicle of my dreams, and made a purchase at a desirable price (even though it was more money than what I was looking to spend). I have purchased over 20 vehicles in my life, and can honestly say that I have never had the assistance of a more knowledgeable and informative individual. I plan to let everyone I know about Kreg. I hope Kreg's superiors are aware of his talent and his ability to make a normally very stressful and intimidating transaction turn out to be a pleasant experience. I feel that Kreg locked in to my preferences, and subtlety steared me toward that gorgeous Acura MDX. More
