"Tires at cost, but they scam you for everything else!"

- Never again GM customer

This dealership advertises tires at cost, and they gave me a great product at a great price! BUT when I picked up my car they told me I need new brakes and rotors...$1300!! I took my car elsewhere in town for a second opinion and inspection and was told there was double the amount of brakes that Salmon Arm GM told me. This dealership is a scam when it comes to repairs, obviously selling tires at "cost" but making up the value by attempting to sell new parts/repairs that are not necessary. Never again, I will gladly pay more for tires and trust my repair shop

"Honesty is key and dishonesty gets you a bad review"

- Dave Johnston

I broke down in BC and was towed to Salmon Arm where I trusted the dealership to be honest and help out a stranger, boy was I wrong. My truck had developed a coolant leak and when they diagnosed the problem I was told it would be an 11 hour job, then it turned into a 17 hour job and the part is 3 days away. They told me they had to drop the transmission in order to get at the part, in my opinion I doubt this was ever done. When I received the "old" parts, that had to be searched for as the mechanic, I assume, threw them away even though he knew I wanted them, I found out that the part is actually 2 separate parts, a short piece of rubber hose ( part that split ) and a metal tube. If you replace the metal tube then it is an 11 hour job and the tranny must be dropped, if you replace only the rubber hose it can be done in less than 2 hours and the tranny does not have to be dropped. I was charged 11 hours for this job and when I looked at the metal tube portion of the 2 parts it has never been installed on a truck, it is brand new, in other words I was charged for work never done. Also , in my opinion, the dealership charged me for some of the hours that should have been under warranty for another part that had failed and was replaced under warranty during the same visit. This is all I will say for now even though I disagree with other issues with this dealership.
