I had booked an appointment with him at the user car centre and he was ready on my arrival. He was friendly and we sat down to talk about my needs after he got me some coffee. I informed of him of my buying parameters (vehicle model, colour, payment range, delivery date, etc) and he was able to locate several candidates immediately. He worked out offer sheets for each and explained the various options available in each case. He was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Within the hour we had come to an agreement on which car made the most sense and we shook hands on the deal. Because the purchase would be financed, I then sat down with Adam Darwiche to go through the credit application process. Two days later Adam called with the credit approval and we arranged a pickup date. I arrived on the pickup date and we completed the financing transaction in about an hour and a half. He worked hard to work in my payment needs while still making sure I could afford the service plan. This was my second Ford vehicle I purchased with the PremiumCare service package and I was glad it could be a part of a used car purchase and not just new (my previous purchase). Francis Eshriew assisted in coordinating the delivery and reviewing the features of the vehicle before I left the dealership. Everyone involved was professional, efficient and friendly. Not nearly as professional as other dealers I knew what was needed, I asked for the parts to be ordered and I made an appointment. I was there waiting for over an hour and a half for what shoul I knew what was needed, I asked for the parts to be ordered and I made an appointment. I was there waiting for over an hour and a half for what should have been a half hour job. That to me is very poor service. Everyone I spoke to was very nice but seriously lacked professionalism. Vehicles are very expensive to purchase and maintain and one would like to feel that the sales and service people involved are serious about their business. To put in time, I asked a sales person some questions about a new explorer in the shoe room. I wanted to know how the roof rack functioned because there is no evident means to tie things down to it. He said that he didn't know and that I should ask the parts department. I asked them in parts, they looked up the add-ons but also didn't know how they worked. I asked the sales person what colour that particular vehicle was. He didn't know. I asked how to stow the rear seats. I had been able to get one down but not the other. He couldn't make them function and said that the battery must be dead. However the lights were on in the cabin. He asked me what I drove presently and I replied "an MKT. He asked if I were thinking of "upgrading" to an explorer? Really? that is considered an "upgrade" He didn't seem to know what an MKT was although he said that he drove an MKX. He thought that it was an MKC (Escape for those that didn't know.) Instead of wandering around chatting with other staff, time might be better spent memorizing spec sheets and at least keeping batteries charge and knowing information regarding display models in the showroom. I seriously felt as a 60 something woman I knew more about cars than the sales people. Maybe some "lunch and learns" would be helpful. More

Derek and Brett were knowledgeable and friendly and on pick up/ purchase day everything went quickly and smoothly. Unfortunately we had to bring the car in for servicing soon after the purchase and Fiona was direct and to the point but friendly and our car was repaired as quickly as possible and Fiona kept up to date by informing me constantly of all the pertinent issues. I’m very comfortable with my purchase, would recommend to anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle. More

They always take the time to answer any queries and we never feel rushed through the process. Fiona and others in the past have let us know about any service deal packages which we appreciate. We have never had to bring any vehicle back because it wasn't repaired properly. Our most recent experience was super convenient, as usual. I called to book an appointment and we were able to make it for the following day. We dropped the vehicle that night, using the key drop box and received a cheery phone call first thing in the morning from Fiona to confirm our service plan. Fiona called when our vehicle was ready and we breezed in just before closing to pick it up. More

Purchase of 2017 Ford F250 Super Duty Very good sales experience with all members of the sales, finance and delivery team. Listened to what we were looking for and found us a truck in Albe Very good sales experience with all members of the sales, finance and delivery team. Listened to what we were looking for and found us a truck in Alberta that met our needs. The truck was ready by the end of the week as promised. Minor issue with some scratches on the tailgate which was handled by the body shop and had the tailgate back with new paint in 3 days. This was my 3rd purchase from Northstar Ford over the years and I would recommend them to my friends and family. More
