Friendly Service With Promises Kept I found that the followup from the service staff was good in that they reminded me that I had a vehicle needing service due to a recall. It took long I found that the followup from the service staff was good in that they reminded me that I had a vehicle needing service due to a recall. It took longer than it should have to get the vehicle in considering that it was a potential brakes problem... but at least they ordered the parts and did indeed contact me when they arrived urging me to get that repair taken care of. The staff was smiley. How can you not like that? They were friendly, efficient and called me before doing any service that I hadn't asked for. The shuttle driver "Jim" gets an important nod as well. He is an especially nice guy and was also on time and efficient. More

Check engine light My diesel had a check engine light on over the holidays and I was looking to get it into a shop to diagnose the problem. Unfortunately I was turned away with a 10 day waiting period as they were all booked. Northstar was the exception and made a special effort to get the truck in to determine if it was a simple fix allowing me to continue the holidays with the vehicle or park it immediately.
