Hagerstown Honda began operation in November 1990 and moved from our temporary location on Frederick Street to the I-70 Auto Mall in July of 1991. Many of our original 12 associates are still members of the Hagerstown Honda team as are many that joined our growing operation in the early 1990s. We are very proud that so many of our associates in all departments remain part of our organization.
In 1997, we added KIA vehicles to our product offerings and completed our new Honda building in 2000, which is twice the size of the new building completed in 1991. We have been very fortunate that many of our customers continue to buy their new and used vehicles from us year after year. We have grown to become one of the top Honda dealers nationwide and with over 3,000 customer deliveries each year, Hagerstown Honda is western Maryland's largest automotive dealer.
As we continue to grow and expand on our 15 acre complex, our goal is always to serve our customers' better. The internet has allowed our new customers to learn more about our service, our inventory and our commitment to customer satisfaction before they drive on the lot. The internet has also allowed our existing customers to make service appointments, purchase parts or just learn more about the exciting new products that come from Honda and KIA every year. As soon as he saw us in the parking lot, he recognized us right away (from 5yrs ago) and cordially greeted us; it’s almost like we are catching up with an old friend instead of purchasing a new vehicle. He is such a great guy and salesman; very kind, thoughtful and easy to work with. Between his knowledge of the vehicles and outgoing personality, we never felt pressured into buying. He knows a lot about the products and was very helpful; made the sale easy and fast for us but most importantly, gave me the assurance that I needed to proceed with ease after our particular circumstances. He also has been fantastic after making the sale. He takes the time to answer questions. I would recommend him to everyone and wouldn’t have a problem going to him for years to come. This dealership has always been customer friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Rodney Faith also made the final steps of the purchase smooth. Great guy as well. I mean, come on, John is da bomb when it comes to his knowledge of a Honda vehicle. He explained everything even down to how to open the gas cap which I will admit I probably wouldn't figure out unless I knowledge of a Honda vehicle. Nat the service guy I saw before this visit said hello and asked how I was. Plus the finance manager Chad got me thru the process quickly. All in all the best Honda dealership experience. More

The only reason we bought a car here was because of Tony Valentine. His attention to helping us was the best from any dealers I have worked with in buying a car. Tony Valentine of Hagerstown Honda is the type of car dealer we all need and deserve. When I arrived at Hagerstown Honda to look for my new car, I was driving a 2008 Accord. I had been driving it fo dealer we all need and deserve. When I arrived at Hagerstown Honda to look for my new car, I was driving a 2008 Accord. I had been driving it for almost 17 years. I needed to be educated on what was available in newer cars. The computerization of current models was all new to me. Tony not only introduced me to the newer cars, but after I made my selection, he patiently explained and demonstrated the computerized system of my new CRV. Tony recognized that so much information was overwhelming, so he offered to reteach and redemonstrate any areas of difficulty. He told me that as I enjoyed driving my new CRV, I was to write down any questions or concerns and we would schedule future lessons as necessary. I also ordered some accessories for my new CRV. Some of the accessories needed to be ordered. When they arrived, Tony offered to stop by my home to deliver and install. That was so much more than I ever expected, and it was very appreciated.
