My Review Of Erin Mills Mitsubishi:

I had my timing chain stretch on my 2008 Mitsubishi Evolution that I only had for 2 months. so I took my car into Erin Mills as it was still under warranty. I got a call about an hour later and was informed that my chain stretched due to me over-revving the engine and they could tell this from the check engine codes. I called another dealer and they informed me that I was lied to. There is no code for over rev in the 2008 models. This was not released until 2011 models. I then called them out on it and they back pedaled and said the only way this could happen is from over-revving. They then went on to say that I am not covered under warranty as my exhaust is aftermarket so they reported my car to Mitsu and had a flag put on my car so I cannot go to any other dealers. The exhaust I have installed is the EXACT same one they have hanging on the wall in the Markham Mitsubishi parts counter. I would never trust this dealer as they lied to me on multiple occasions. Buyers beware!

Thank you for your feedback. Erin Mills Mitsubishi strives to deliver positive customer service experiences on each and every occasion that we interact with our loyal customer base.

Some facts were omitted by this reviewer: namely that he had aftermarket modification to significantly increase the horsepower of his vehicle beyond factory specifications; that he had no service history to speak of (e.g. could not demonstrate a single oil change); that he purchased the vehicle from a private owner; and that this was his first trip to our dealership.

On our end, we performed diagnostic as requested and submitted a claim for warranty work to Mitsubishi Canada, which was rejected due to the aftermarket modification to the vehicle and lack of vehicle service history. Unfortunately, these two reasons alone prevented us from assisting the customer in repairing his vehicle through our warranty program.

My Review Of Erin Mills Mitsubishi:

Several instances of poor service, and a reluctance by staff to admit errors made in service. For the prices they charge, they should get the job done the first time. I would not recommend taking your vehicle to this dealer.

Friendly and professional.
Great purchase experience, they are the only dealer that paid a reasonable price for my trade in.
Service staff is very helpfull and knowledgeble
