If I could I would rate them a 0, Very disgraceful customer service. My 17 year old son bought this used car, within 2 months engine gone needs replaced, no help from dealership. I recently bought a vehicle at Bank Street Hyundai. Those who greeted me and helped me along the way were outstandingly helpful and courteous. Ahmed, Joe and Mustafa, my salesperson, were exceptional i Those who greeted me and helped me along the way were outstandingly helpful and courteous. Ahmed, Joe and Mustafa, my salesperson, were exceptional in all regards. They very patiently, knowledgeably and joyfully addressed my numerous questions and concerns with no time restrictions, no pressure and no judgment whatsoever. Along with other folks at this dealership, they made me feel comfortable, confident and happy to be there. A special mention also goes out to Stephania, a most efficient receptionist. No idea where to begin. Just left the dealership in tears and absolute shock at the front desk team at service coutner. Went in for a oil change and walked out in tears feeling belittled, picked on and laughed at. What should have been a 150$ job ended up xxxxxxx me into a 250$ job then the bill come to 400$. Eventually i was able to drop the bill to 300$ instead of 400$ (still not what i was quoted) When trying to figure out what happened to my bill it turns out they did my service 2 oil change ONTOP of a fuel injection service. I didn't want the fuel injection as it was included with my service. The coutner INSISTED I asked for it when I clearly remember what I said but they tried the hardest to try and brain wash me into believing them but I wasn't leaving until this was resolved. Luckily they did resolve it but It still cost me 300$ out of my rent money & left me in tears infront of everyone & honestly the way they treated me still makes my eyes water judt thinking about it. I informed the service desk I didn't appreciate their attitude and that I just want to resolve the issue but the counter staff continued to belittle me, laugh at me and next thing I know other front desk works where laughing with them, mocking me right their infront of customers. When I told the manager or whoever he was, he really didn't even care himself and practically sided with the man who literally to this moment still has me in tears because the stuff he said hurt me more then he could ever imagine. The issue that caused this doesn't even matter to me (screw the 400$ bill & the work they did without my permission) as I'm completely shook at the way customer service is run in the location. I politely asked them to stop, said they r being unprofessional, I even said I would take blame and wouldn't point fingers, I informed them if they didn't stop I would make a complaint and I was laughed at and told go right ahead. So I did. The service men yelled at me "u always have issues when coming here HAHA I wonder why HAHA". When I went to call hyundai canada to fine a complaint and open a dispute the service men and manager took my bill + paperwork from me and WOULD NOT let me see it. One man even yelled "DONT GIVE HER THE PAPER WORK SHES JUST GONNA COMPLAINE ABOUT IT". file was opened but im sure nothing will be done. Out of the 3 service men and the manager or whatever, only 1 of them was man enough to apologize, was polite, and even gave me his card incase I had anymore issues. Do I believe he was genuine, no. Do I believe he was just trying to cover his xxx for when I file a complaint. Probably. I have always had issues with this location (yes the man who belittled me made that very clear to everyone as he laughed and yelled "u always have a problem when u come here HAHA I wonder WHY HAHA"). This location is testosterone run. I've never Seen a female in this location especially in there service desks. (Makes sense why, look how they treat people especially woman). I have big shoulders and can handle a lot from men, but this dealership has literally broke me. I've never been disrespect the way I have here. Many times I've witness similar situations with other woman but nothing as harsh, rude or ignorant like it was done to me this afternoon. I'm 5 foot 2, 30 years of age with knowledge of mechanics as a background. This dealership belittled me to the point I felt like I was in middle school with 3 grown men bullying me into a corner while I literally cried. Woman, ladies if you go here and have been treated rudly, PLEASE speak out and report them to hyundai canada. This dealership for the past year has made me feel anxious Going in for a service & I've decided after today's incident to never return here! Gawd I sound like a cry baby but I really HOPE someone will read this and take me seriously enough to not go here and if they do, to remind those men that they have no right to treat customers to the point they did today. We came to Hyundai Dealership with the intention to get an information on Kona and a possibility of purchasing it. We were dealing with a sales representative Paul Clegg, who we found to be a very a capab an information on Kona and a possibility of purchasing it. We were impressed with his patience and thoroughness in answering all our questions. We felt very comfortable with his approach of no pressure on us to purchase the vehicle. He was very efficient to obtain any cost related information which we requested. In the future, if we would decide to purchase any car from Hyundai dealership, Paul will be our number one choice salesman we will deal with. Worst service I have experienced in my 53 years. Completely unprofessional and rude. The engine blew up on my 18 year old sons car with 160, 000 Kms on it. I talked to the service department about this and the said there is a 90 per cent chance Hyundai would replace the engine because there was under 200 000 kms and there is known problems with this engine. They told me that they would charge me 3 hours labor to look the car over and create a report. I told them he was in collage and didn't have much money and couldn't afford this is they were not going to replace the engine. The service rep again told me there was a 90 per cent chance they would replace it. I delivered the car for the inspection. I was asked to produce the bill of sale which was in the car. I went back to the dealership to get it and the car was sitting in the back lot with the rear window down and 3 inches of water in the passengers foot board. Not impressed. The service department doesn't work weekends so I couldn't get the key to close the window, I called on Monday and was hung up on, my son called the following day and was hung up on. My wife left a message and they responded with a snarky message saying the window had been rolled up. To sum up, they denied the claim because they said there was sludge in the engine and the oil was dirty and refused to pay for a detail of the car due to the water they let get in the car. - minus 100 stars if I could, bought a 46000 (with tax) and delivered with less than quarter tank of gas - when we first bought vehicle low tire warning light was on. We were told by salesman that it was a sensor issue, well guess what, it was a slow leak on the tire, this leads to believe they just pumped the tire to make sensor go away on delivery. The sensor warning light came back within 2 weeks of delivery on same tire, tire was at a dangerous low level when sensor picked it up. The issue we have is to knowingly deliver a vehicle (by the person who pumped the tire) that could be a safety hazard to passengers and public as it can cause an accident on blow out, is in our minds not just unacceptable, but criminal. - pressure tactics on sales, price was apparently falsely advertised and they tried to increase in price by $2000 when I got there, we were enticed to purchase a 2nd vehicle to obtain advertised price on the first. very deceitful practices. - They would not take a 20000 deposit on vehicle at 9:00 am to keep it till 12 pm to go sign final papers. This caused us to send multiple emails to salesman to finalize purchase by 12 pm to secure the vehicle Then my wife was sent a text by salesman indicating to "stop bothering him" during deliveries of other cars at their dealership. * a situation they create by refusing our deposit in the first place. - We have left 3 messages with service department in last 2 days (Thur and Fri no return calls. Absolutely no post purchase service. - We contacted salesman who told us he would not get involved in assisting us to resolve the issue with service dept, he indicated their service department was "swamped" and we were lucky to get an appointment in 3 weeks, and we should call roadside assistance if we are worried about our safety, this is after he was apparently able to get vehicle looked "fix" the issue that was first identified in 2 days when we purchased vehicle. Well it was never fixed and we believe we were lied to about it. Avoid at all cost ! I will never buy a vehicle from this place again and suggest you do the same to avoid yourself some heartache. More
I would strongly suggest to avoid Dilawri on Bank street in Ottawa. Worst service ever. They charged me 1500$ and they never solved the brake pedal issue, I went back 3 times and still having the same issu in Ottawa. Worst service ever.
